convenient location, but poor facility
the overall facilities are old, the same with the sheets and towels. The receptionist was busy helping other customers with their car outside and it took us more than 30 minutes to have our check in.

Great Airport Rental Car Hotel
This hotel is at the corner of Lucas Dr and Middlebelt Rd. Lucas Dr is where all of the Rental car agencies are located and you can literally walk to the A-Vis center from the lobby of the hotel. They have a nice shuttle service back to the airport, there is a very nice Restaurant called Wings just off the lobby, with great food but limited hours. However, a McDonald's right next door and a BP station next to that for those last minute rental car fill-ups, makes this one of the most convenient Airport Hotels I have stayed in. Also, easy access to ice makers, clean bath and rooms, hallways are a bit musty, but rooms are pleasant and bright. Great stay and great value.

The hotel itself is old and needs new carpet throughout. We requested to be moved from the first non-smoking room because if reeked of smoke. The second room was much better - it smelled fresher, the room itself looked much newer (the carpet, the bed, pillows and spread) and, including the bathroom, it was very clean.

I had stayed in April and was very satisfied with price and value. This time was BAD, BAD, AND BAD. I Will try a different hotel on my next visit. The rooms vary in quality at least this time. I definitely received a room that needed attention. No Microwave. When I asked the desk, She said some do and some don't. The entire room was DON'T.

Your staff made a sad occasion wonderful
I was recently in the Detroit area for a funeral. The hotel was very clean,convient to stores and the staff was outstanding.
