Clean comfort for short stay
This is a decent hotel for one or two nights. I wouldn't recommend it for long stays; the location is not the easiest to find, the bathroom is quite small, and ice is available only on the first floor. But it's close to the airport and highways, very quiet and clean with a friendly, efficient staff and reasonably priced.

COMFORT IN METRO AIRPORT DETROIT
it was a two queen size bed room with many amenities including microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator, iron and ironing board. The room was very small and the bathroom even smaller. There was no luggage rack so I put my wife's luggage on the ironing board. The TV was old and showed it by occasional noises and picture distortions. We have had good to wonderful experiences with comfort inns in the past. We especially like the new affordable comfort suites where we can relax on a sofa with a coffee table. We are not confined to our beds for the only comfort. This room under review had only one desk chair and a table. The carpet though new was not clead at the edges. If you don't have a car, which we didn't, the only place to eat was in the motel. My wife had a chicken salad which was just OK, but I had a good glass of wine and a good hamburger.

Train Wreck - Beware
To put it as gently as possible we used this dump for a park and fly and it was a big mistake. They advertise it as newly remodeled but it is truly a dump at best. The shuttles to/from the airport are a real life free for all with absolutely no organization whatsoever. The hotel's shuttle was extremely run down and unsafe. They attempted to packed people in to the point where the passengers refused to accept any additional bodies. Those left standing had only a single remaining grab bar which was not even accessable to the majority of them. It didn't matter though because it was actually hanging by a single screw alone and if someone had grabbed it then it would only have come down on someone seated. Those standing had to rely on those sitting to keep them from toppling over. It was a very very bad joke. It was by far the worst I've witnessed (and I've seen a lot) and after I complete this I am going to see if I can report them to some authoritative regulatory body as their standard operating procedure and the vehicle they use can in no way be legal. If you are smart you'll try somewhere else. I would have given it a zero but that didn't seem to be an option.

Short stay only!
Over all the hotel was clean and close to the airport if you are just staying over for a night with the cheap rate. Small rooms. However, the customer service has a lot to be desired and as for business travel no ementies!!! Only one outlet open for use in the room. No business center or even printer. One vending machine in entire hotel and it didn't work. Will not stat there again.

Neededa place to stay prior to an early morning flight fromdetroit Metro.Spent one night after reading reviews from previous people. Services listed met our needs, especially a shuttle to the airport. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The continental breakfast opened a 4am, perfect for us since we were talking the 5am shuttle. A good experience overall. Would recommend.

Good Value for Money
We just stayed for one night to wait for a early flight. Overall it was nice. We were expecting something not so good and were pleasantly suprised. The beds were clean and somewhat comfortable. The bathrooms were a little old and outdated but the where better than expected. Breakfast was good. Simple yet good. It was relatively quiet for being right by the airport.

Comfortable and Convenient
The shuttle from the airport was a Hotel Connections shuttle that services a number of hotels in the area. It was a short wait and quick ride. The hotel itself is a little old and showing signs of wear: stains on the hallway carpet, damaged wallpaper, etc. But the sheets and towels were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The in-hotel restaurant/bar was good too: they make a really good/healthy chicken gyro. Free breakfast was pretty basic, but starts at 4am! There's not much else around the hotel: other hotels on one side and a long road and cornfield on the other.

Short walk from hotel
I was there in the summer and went for a run along the road next to the hotel. Got to see a pretty sunset, as well as some rabbits and a raccoon. Watch out for the mosquitoes though! (None in the hotel itself though.)
