Beautiful hotel

The Thomas Edison Inn had something for everyone. The location is breathtaking at the foot on the Blue Water Bridge. The hotel has a large gym and pool, full restaurant and pub.

Good Night's Rest

This hotel has been our stopping point for years. The location is great from a travel point of view and for its location on the river. Our meals have been very good over the years. We also had a return reservation for our trip back to Michigan which we had to cancel due to a medical problem for which a physician we saw in NY state indicated we had to get home so the problem could be watched carefully for a few days. Even though the reservation was booked through Orbitz the Inn graciously agreed to a cancellation around noon on the day we were to arrive. Thank you.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay a the hotel. Our room was great and the view was fantastic. We had a balcony room with a partial view and had a great view of the Blue Water bridge and the waterway. We really enjoyed sitting on our balcony and watching the boats. The wet area was nice and the pool was large. My husband really enjoyed the fitness area. The staff was friendly and accomodating. We cannot wait to return.

Beautiful Setting!

Traveled to the area on business and was pleasently surprised. The hotel was beautiful, staff was great, and the rooms spacious. Definently better than most hotels in the same price range. Continental breakfast was weak however with fruit and coffee only.

Anniversary Date

I was a bit underwhelmed with this hotel. For a room that cost $165 I thought it was in need of updating and had some cleanliness issues. Spider web on lampshade, greesy hand print on tv screen and headboard of bed. It is a nice hotel but needs some needy updating.

Not too bad

The hotel is very nice from the outside and the view on the exterior is fantastic, its surroundings are beautiful. The price is reasonable but the food at the hotel is fairly expensive but tasty. I absolutely loves the pool/hot tub, it hit the spot and the gym is great! My only down side is the rooms are a little on the out-dated side but still served its function.

Nice visit to hometown

From the front rooms and dining area there are beautiful views, but perhaps because we were an online booking we were giving a back room that overlooked the parking lot.
