Horrible
If I could post pictures on here I would. I will never stay at this place again. I'm so sorry that I made my family spend a night here.

OMG
couldn"t check in at check in time.Room wasn't ready for an hour and a half later (had to come back twice). When we did get our key the room was upstairs . Screens broken and falling off the windows. We had two double beds.One bed had a creater in the middle ,almost to the floor. Plaster was falling off the ceilings on the entirer complex. broken bed frames were thrown under the stairways. Bathrooms awful. Please don't go here the board of health should be notified!!!

Tough experience
Room was noisy. Kept hearing a squealing sound from mechanical area. Steep price for room with wallpaper falling off wall in several places.

Empty Nesters
Wonderful getaway for first time empty nesters
My wife and I had just dropped off our 4th child to college in KY to escape to Petoskey, MI. Beautiful town! Wonderful parks. Great food! White fish!! Hotels pricey especially in Aug but found Econo Lodge in our budget for a 3-day getaway.

The Tooth Couple
Good for Boyne Crazy Dayz
It was one of the cheapest on [...]website for the weekend that we both wanted however, the hotel met our expectations and exceeded my wife's expectations for cleanliness and freshness. There was coffee to make in the room, shampoo, conditioner, and also a goodie basket. Inside the goodie basket there was some tooth paste, sunscreen and lotions. All were completmentary and not necessary, but the fact that the hotel put them out to offer was where this Econo Lodge (South) went beyond our expectations.

Short walk from hotel
Right across the steet was a buffalo wild wings, applebees and other restruants. It was really convenient to walk to dinner and walk home. It saved gas and also we didn't need a designated driver. Also, right across the street is a walmart. This was convenient to purchase any supplies that we happened to forget at home. FINALLY, there was a casino within a short walking distance. The Econo Lodge South gave us $5/person in free chips to gamble with and also FREE transportation to and from the casino, 24 hours a day. We really enjoyed this feature of the Econo Lodge South.

Econon Lodge South Petoskey
Price was GREAT for the area, but the hotel was a little run down. Picture online was NOT what we saw when we got there. Didn't spend much time in the room anyways, but still a little beat up looking. Cont breakfast was over before it even began.

Geocaching Honeymooner
Econo Lodge Petoskey
On our way home from Mackinaw City, we decided we wanted to see more of Northern Michigan. Found Econo Lodge to be the best price in the area and were pleased to find a nice, clean room and pool area. It even has excellent WiFi.

Bluejacket
Basic lodging for the business traveler.
Wasn't looking for "an experience", just a place to sleep. This motel met my basic needs at a fair price. Would stay there again.

Okay
Bed was comforable, wifi worked well and room was clean. Wall paper was ripped in a few spots, pool floor looked a bit dirty, but we did not use the pool or hot tub. Also, bathroom door would not lock. Contenental breakfast was okay, they could use some better selections. A smokeing room would have been nice, but it was a smoke free campus, but thats fine. Staff was great, I might go back again...

Was easy to find
The pillows sucked very flat. NO conditioner for hair in the room. Forgot mine at home. They were not full at all and got a room that had to walk forever up steps and way to the back. Instead of giving me a ground floor was stuck on 2nd floor.
