Good value-pet friendly,
Nice clean resort, friendly staff and good value for the money.If a work out is important look elsewhere. An elipitical machine, 1 jogging tack and a bowflex is a waste of space.Good wireless connection.Well kept property.[...]

Clean, comfortable, quiet, good continental breakfast with lots of choices and regularly re-stocked. Pet friendly, near the highway but set up on a bluff so the impression is that it's tucked away from the traffic. Our room even had a view of Little Traverse Bay through the trees.

Disappointed
Trying to check in, I had to wait while the front desk female answered phones. The desk and nightstand had, what looked like, cigarette burns. This was supposed to be a smoke free hotel. The rooms appeared old, but they were clean. We were kept up most the night to a humming sound that we guessed to be a bathroom fan either in the room next to us or below us. Continental breakfast was adequate but not enough room for everyone.

out of town value
The comfort Inn is a great value for the money The room was clean and very accommodating. The staff was very curtious and knowledgeable about surrounding area. Only drawback is that the Inn is located outside of downtown Petosky.

Great patio and surrounding land!
The rooms at this Comfort Inn were fine (though not spectacular). What makes this a unique place to stay is the lovely patio off the main lounge that opens up into a nice expanse of green grass filled with black squirrels and monarch butterflies. We stayed here with our 21-month-old toddler and were very appreciative of their beautiful outside space!
