Perfect for what we needed
We were looking for a place that we could stay for just one night that was within reasonable driving distance to the Mackinaw Bridge (within 1 hour). We were participating in the Labor Day Bridge Walk in the morning. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was o.k.

We're split
My girlfriend and I both stayed. The location was great (close to US 31) with plenty of dining choices and the building and grounds were well-maintained. I was fine with everything but two things got my girlfriend upset: 1) the room had no coffeemaker and 2) the breakfast did not offer fresh fruit or hot foods such as eggs or sausage. If I was traveling alone, I'd stay again but if I was traveling with the girlfriend I'd stay someplace with a buffet-style breakfast. (I gave the hotel four stars but she would have given it three.)

Did the job.
Nice pool area. Front desk didn't have extra personal amenities( razors). Breakfast started at 7 am, but that seemed to be the time they just started setting up. Friendly staff though. Clean.

great stay!!
I went to Peiowski for a cycling event ,and also found a wonderful inn , The staff was very helpful and the room was more than I expected very well appointed.vrry comfortable and quite. I would recomend this inn to anyone.

A nice stay; nothing seriously wrong and nothing super outstanding. Desk person was very nice. Room and bath were OK although no bath; only a shower. Not a business class hotel but I'm sure caters to skiers and winter sport crowd so not going to be top of the line. Gutter dripped on outside air conditioning unit most of the night making an annoying tap...tap. I would recommend if not looking for 5 stars, but a nice place to stay.

Great location!!
This is the first time I visited Petoskey and thought the location of the hotel was great. Very inviting entry and the rooms were a good size - needed to be updated as the decor was dreary. Very comfortable bed and everything was very clean.
