Super 8 Muskegon

I would NEVER stay at this Hotel again ! I was extremely disappointed in the condition of he room , especially the bathroom , so much to the point that I took photos . The location was terrible . Thank goodness it was a short drive to shopping , dining and sightseeing .

Stayed overnight close to the airport for quick easy access. Not too many choices that close. Marriott is not much further and a MUCH nice place. This is the lower end of the Super 8's.

This hotel was great for the room itself. It had a refridgerator in the room always a bonus. The beds were comfortable the room a decent size. On the down side...the complimentary breakfast was toast or cereal and they were stingy with that. Having stayed in tons of Super 8's this was very disappointing. Then while getting ready to depart we were looking for a lost shoe when I peaked under the bed. BIg mistake. Tons of residual trash, cable cords, misc. debris that was not ours. Very scary thought as to how long since someone has cleaned under there. Last the intersections in the city are all quite weird in and of themselves, but when approaching the hotel from the one direction although there is a light, you cannot turn left and must pass it and flip a U consistently. Awkward location and next to some shady buildings surronding.

I would not recommend this hotel! Located next door to all night liqueur store. No room service was done, had to ask for towels,washclothes,toilet paper daily and put trash and dirty towels in hallway to have them picked up. Continental breakfast was nonexistent.

The staff was super friendly, but the beds were hard, ands the room smelled musty, and our key card never worked. We stayed three nights and housekeeping never came and empty the trash or gave us fresh towels. They would give us some upon request. It was an ok experience but have stayed at better hotels for the same money.

They were helpful with everything I needed.

Room smelled of urine, otherwise it could have been an all right experience.

This was my first and last stay at this hotel. the cable didn't come in very well and we didn't get half the channels. this place was in a very bad neighborhood. in addition the rooms smelt horrible and there were bugs everywhere. i will never again go back here or recommend this place to anybody else...especially for the price i payed.
