Great Value For Price

Room service wasn't the greatest and you can't really call what they have a "gym", it's just a smelly room with 4 machines, and the breakfast could be better but those are minor things that I didn't like. The pools were absolutely great, and traveling with family and kids, it was good entertainment. It's at a great spot to buy food and shop. The beach and other attractions are just a small ride away. Overall, pretty good.

The Pere Marquette Park has a beautiful beach and great lighthouses you can walk to that touch the lake. Not much people are there if you go during the week, so it's nice and spaceful! Great spot to get away from the hectic city. Also Duck Lake was wonderful, very private and clean, surrounded by nature, very beautiful!

Bad Housekeeping

Bathroom was disgusting. Hairs all over toilet. Coffee stains in the sink, probably from washing out the coffee pot and then not rinsing the sink. Dirty/previously used towel left behind the door.

Always a good stay!

What my family loves about this hotel is the two pools. There is an outdoor and indoor and both are usually empty, so there is always room for my family to all go and have fun! The breakfast is the normal breakfast, but has a great set up. There is also a bar set up in the lobby. We stayed here for 4 days for a memorial service and burial and this hotel definitely helped ease our minds after a couple hard days.

Lots of restaurants around commercial and local. Henry St off of Sherman has a great pizzeria!

Nasty! Spend your money elsewhere!

It sure seems like a great deal. Around $250 for one night at the hotel for a family of four, plus four tickets to Michigan Adventure, and a full Jet's Pizza dinner with two large pizzas, breadsticks, and a liter of pop. That's where the good news ends. This was one of the dirtiest hotels I've ever seen. It appears to have been recently remodeled, but everything from the windows to the eating area to the carpets are totally filthy. They feature two pool areas and an arcade, but again, everything was dirty and in disrepair. My wife went to workout and the fitness machines hadn't been cleaned and there was no immediate access to water. The shower pressure was even bad. Don't waste your money, my advice is to go elsewhere.

About (8) miles away are a couple of great restaurants right on the water. One is right on the beaches of Lake Michigan, a bar called Captain Jack's on Beach St. Right nearby is a higher end seafood place called Dockers that overlooks a Marina. Both are great. Unfortunately, you have to drive through some very questionable areas to get there.

Comfortable bed after a long day at play

The check-in was prompt and our room was clean and the beds were comfy!! The breakfast choices were typical and fine. No one swam in the outdoor pool that looks incredible in the pics, but the water was green and slimy feeling. The medium sized indoor pool had the hot tub right next to it. The pool water was fine here. The hotel had enough indoor and outdoor nice seating for guests to eat breakfast or bring in their own food. The place was very busy and we did enjoy our stay.

Walmart is in the same parking lot! Easy off the hwy and a couple of decent choices to eat from. It is a short & easy drive to the MiAdventure park.

so so

We celebrated in the new year. When we go back to the room from the pool there was a large group of people that were handing out at the outside door. I don't know what they were doing but it looked shady. In the morning the pool was closed when it should have been open. The breakfast had no food because there were to many costumers and the hotel was under staffed for the new year. Disappointed John room 218
