Good for overnight stay
Not bad for a one day getaway. Thete are stores, gas stations, and restaurants close by and in walking distance.

Was very bad ! Bad plumbing, lack of towels, cracked floor tiles, and no pool.

Ok for the money
The bed was comfortable. The whole building was in disrepair. Holes in the wall, damaged wallpaper that was all cut up. Also in a rough part of town. It was inexpensive. I would not stay again.

disappointed stayer
grimy hot box
the place was a mess - dirt everywhere - ac wasn't on when I got there - I was on 4th floor - it was 94 out tyook all night to get it liveable - went off @ 6- no wake up call- etc.. When the coffee curdled after I added cream - it was the last straw. Won't go back-ever .

Dust...
The motel is outside of the downtown. The room was dirty as well as the bathroom. The door of our room could be hardly closed. Absolutely NOT recommended!

Fine for what its worth
This was one of the cheapest hotels on the list and it was evident why. There was nothing really wrong with the place but it seems to have a bad rep from the locals. We needed it for a single night stay, the cons were the pool was out of service and the breakfast that is advertised with a picture of waffles only had 3 types of cereal and some bread or bagels. Also, we were exhausted after a day of travel so we could sleep through anything, but there were lots of noises coming from the mini fridge and the AC unit as they cycled on and off.

Hoffmaster State Park - is amazing, about $8 for a day pass. Beach and dune walks are great.

Not remodeled at all horrible pillows gave me a backache No hairdryer bad televisions dirty shower warm juice wouldn't eat the food no computer to get directions not worth the money. Staff sat around watching tv that worked better than my room lol

Know what to expect
Based on the price, the ratings and the pictures online, I knew what to expect- a room whose quality matched the value you get by the reservation cost. My expectation was correct- the bath and bed rooms were small and certainly not pristine, but they weren't obviously dirty or smelly and the sheets seemed clean. The lobby was nice and the wireless internet was a perk. The big surprise was how empty the hotel was otherwise- it was a little eerie.
