I put my aunt and uncle up in this hotel because they were getting married it was a last minute reservation we wanted to do something nice for them the only complant they had was the elevator did not work and she had to walk up two flights of
stairs in her wedding dress
We pulled up to the hotel and you would think that it is vacant since there are barely any cars in the parking lot. I reserved one room for one night through a discount travel site and when we arrived there were two room reservations for two
nights. When we arrived back to our room after a night out, we were locked out of our room because of payment issues and the guy said he walked through our room. In the morning there were still some leftover old bagels in the breakfast room. While I was standing there looking outside, I saw a cat in someone's room looking out the door (must be a long-term renter) and the cabinetry was falling apart, not only in the breakfast room, but in the hotel room as well. Basically, if I didn't get a deal through this site, I would never stay there.
The only problem I experienced was the air/heat unit wasn't working and after maintenance took a look it, he stated parts would have to be ordered and it would not be a quick fix. I was upgraded to another room.

There's a Meijer shopping center and a Walmart shopping center 2 blocks away.
when waiting in line the people in front of me were placed in a room that people were staying in, and it smelled like smoke, the person behind them said the electricity didn't work in thier room and they needed more pillows and blankes cuz the bed
was really hard. Then they didn't have my reservation, my room was dirty and the pillows were just thrown on the bed, several of the lights didn't work either. I considered driving home. I would NEVER stay here again.
Filthy carpet, food growing in sink, rusted/moldy tub drain, dirty and broken lamp shades, smoke smell in halls and some rooms (was moved from first 'smoke free' room). This is a run down establishment where the numbers are upside down on the
The staff's excellence was out of place at this facility.
The Victory Inn is an excellent location with access to main roads and great restaurants. Our room was comfortable with new mattresses on the beds and clean new sheets.Although It is somewhat dated,
new management is working hard at elevating her
to her former glory. My family hosted a 50th anniversary party for our parents here 20 years ago.
The most extraordinary thing about the Victory is the staff who were gracious, kind and attentive to my needs. I would stay there again in the future for this reason alone.

The Hearthstone is a world class restaurant, Pints and Quarts is also a good place to eat more casually and Toast and Jams a very good breakfast or lunch spot.
First room that I was given was not made up (which also happened to another patron immediately before me). In the second room, there were no pillows (and the front desk "ran out" of extra pillows) and I could not find a remote for the TV. Good
thing I booked 3 months in advance for only $55 for the night (after tax) and was only staying for about 8 hours!
Our room had beds made, however there was dried toothpaste on the nightstand, black stuff all over the wall paper, the bathtub was dirty and the sink was sticky. The elevator sensor did not work so we took the stairs where we found blood. Book at
your own risk.
