Far from the best
Front desk staff was pleasant. Halls were dirty, not vacuumed for 3 days. Maid service was very slow. Heat/coll system had a mind of its own. Driveway from road to property is full of potholes, like a war zone. Free breakfast is minimal. There are better places within sight of this one

Weekend Getaway
We spent most of our time at the pool or relaxing in our room. The sheets slipped off the beds and the rooms were a little small for the four of us but other then that it was a nice stay. Breakfast was nice and they had a nice selection of food and drinks. I have stayed at this hotel before and will probably stay there again when I go back to that area.

Short drive from hotel
There were three fast food places within a minute drive from the hotel and a nice sit down place about 5 minutes away by car. We kep some food in our room since there was a fridge and microwave, that helped keep the cost of dining down.

Baymont Inn
The hotel was very loud, you could hear everything. The pool was entirely too small for multiple guests to share & the room smelled funny. The pillows were lumpy as well as the sheets had stains on them. There were spiders in the shower & dirt on the floor. I would never stay here again.

Wouldn't stay again!
Hotel not very clean, room half painted and some wall paper tore or cut off. Doors did not shut good.All surrounding businesses seemed to shut down or closed.[...] Over all I was very disappointed.

Baymont - Monroes
Room was so close to interstate 75 that the non-stop semi-trucks rumbling by made it impossible to sleep. If you stay here, be sure to ask for a room that's not on the I-75 side. Also, the road, if you can call it that, from Leplaissance to the hotel is filled with CRATERS - not potholes.

BAYMONT INN MONROE
EVERYTHING WAS FINE EXCEPT THE TOILETS ARE SO LOW, IT WAS HARD TO GET UP. THAT IS WHY I REQUESTED A HANDICAPPED ROOM. I FELT BECAUSE IT WAS PAID FOR IN ADVANCE I SHOULD HAVE HAD ONE. THEY SAID TO REQUEST DIRECTLY WITH THEM AND CHANCES ARE I WOULD GET ONE.

The beds were fantastic. We appreciated having a refrigerator and microwave. We would suggest a 4-cup coffee maker. A 1-cup coffee maker is not sufficient. The beds were fantastic. Dissatisfied!
The Baymont Hotel was very over priced for it's amenities. I would not have stayed except I couldn't find another hotel in Monroe. The desk clerk was going to charge me an extra $25.00 for an early check in time, being before 3:00 p.m. I have never been told that before. I will never stay at another Baymont Hotel chain again.
