NMU Wildcat Weekend
Inn needs alot of work. Room was not clean. (Puky smell, stuff on walls) I should have asked for a new one. Pool & Jacuzzi was ok. Contential breakfast was ok.

Borderline
Stayed for two days. Charged $10 extra per night for my dog. I assume that this would be for cleaning, however I am not sure what good that would have done. The carpet was filthy and stained, the room was dingy and smelled.

Great Service, Could be Cleaner
The staff was very friendly, and the complimentary continental breakfast was surprisingly good. However, the room could have been cleaner--the rug and chairs were stained.

Not as nice as the picture said. [...] Staff nice but place needs a total makeover.

Honeymooner
Unfriendly, Unsatisfactory, and DIRTY
Before I start, keep in mind I'm generally not a negative person...but for my honeymoon away, this was THAT bad.. When we arrived, there was no smile, no "Hello" not even a "Thank you for staying with us." The "Hotel" looked similar to the photos but add dirt, grime, and bad smells. The pool had mold and grime in it and was unswimable. Our bedding was dirty, the tub was dirty, we paid extra for a jacuzzi room that couldnt even hold two people, and to top it the bed was as hard as a rock, and it was far away from EVERYTHING ..It was one sad trip.

America's Best Value Inn-Marguette, MI
Luckily we were able to check into our room early. I was travelling with a senior who needed a first floor room. The manager was able to accommodate our request and get us a first floor room. Room was clean. The hotel was a short drive to Sawyer International airport. A youth hockey team was travelling through town the same time of our stay .There was a lot of noise from the kids. I complained to the night manager who dealt with it quickly and professionally.

Loved It!!
The staff was great and helped in many ways. My grandaughter had a blast in the pool and the breakfast was top notch. They have waffles and great coffee. You cant beat the price for what you get.
