Nothing special
Clean and a good location, but a bit noisey. Not very well soundproofed and lots of traffic going by. Staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast was very minimal. Price was competitive, though.

The RiverWalk in Manistee was excellent. Lots of benches and flowers. A great place to take a sandwich and have lunch.

Great Stay
We were fortunate to find this Super 8. There was a 3 on 3 basketball tournament nearby and they had 6000 folks involved. Needless to say all of the hospitality firms were really crowded. The room was very nice and all amenities were as advertised. Great stop.

The House of Flavors just south of the Super 8 is always a great place to stop for a snack or a meal. The Pizza Hut a couple of miles south is also a great location for a casual meal.

Basic Room
We went to a concert at the casino. It is about 4 miles away. The motel is one of the few left in the area. The locals said the casino has taken much of the business from the local motels.The room is very basic, but it was very clean! It could use some updates.

The motel is midway (almost) to the downtown/beach area and the Little River Casino. However, this is the 2nd time I paid more with [...]than if I called the motel directly.

Terri Needs a Short Vacation
Great Value and Location
We were looking for a place to stay on the West side of the state for Sunday night. This Super 8 was just right - nothing fancy but a great value. We visited downtown Manistee, checked out the piers and the beaches and went to the casino (even got $5 free casino play from the hotel. There isn't a pool and the continental breakfast was just OK, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable - so for the price we paid, it was perfect for what we needed.

A short drive from the hotel is the Little River Casino which was nice. A short drive into town and there were lots of nice shops to visit and a great Riverwalk that leads to the beach. There is a City Park at the end of the Riverwalk so you can go the beach without having to pay to go to a State Park.

Nonsmoker
Disgusting
We requesting a nonsmoking room and paid more for it. When we got to the hotel, we were given a smoking room and when we complained, they pointed to a sign that said 'we do not guarantee smoking or nonsmoking preference'. It was disgusting.

It was convenient to my destination. The staff were exceptionally accommodating; very kind; always smiling. The shower was very clean, something I love.

Clean, dreary. The first room was noisy because of it's proximity to the lobby, I tried to drown that out by turning on the air conditioner but it clanged and thunked--clearly had something wrong with it! The second room was fine.The desk clerk was very nice about making the change at 12:30 AM.

overall all went fine,,,We were given a handicapp room with sign on door,,,We are not handicapped,,,,,,, Other than that the tv sound is controlled and sound was not loud enough we used the room for shower and sleep,,,,and used the morning treat,,,location was fine We used the casino gift

Good Stay
Motel was fine, Staff was not knowledgeable in the pricing.Their price was $40 some dollars , but yet Orbitz price was 59 and thats what I paid. Not pleased with this ripoff. I could have called and checked it for myself for $20. No more Orbitz for me.
