Stayed 9/30-10/2/11. The hot tub was broken and the pool water was freezing cold, it isn't heated....

Good Value
The room was very nice with a good shower, double sheeted blanket on the bed and a reasonable amount of space in the room. The wireless internet was easy to connect, the breakfast room was clean and neat, with plenty of supplies and a good variety of foods from waffles and peanut butter toast, to yogurt, fruit, warm and cold cereals, juice, tea and gooood coffee. Only problem was the thin insulation in the walls. Kind of noisy in the morning. The beds were very comfortable and the refrigerator was a nice bonus. Definitely a good value at the Orbitz price.

Make sure you make a trip to Scalawag's white fish & chips. A really good local light meal while in Mackinac City

Michigan is great in the fall.
Stayed 9/30-10/2/11. The hot tub was broken and the pool water was freezing cold, it isn't heated. Decent continental breakfast but ends rather early at 9:30am which meant we couldn't sleep in like we wanted to. Steven at the front desk is excellent and was very nice and accommodating with printing out directions to different cities and attractions in the UP that we wanted to go to. Room & bathroom were very clean.

Fun family time with Grand daughter!
Pleasant stay, adequate accommodations for the price. Only complaint wireless internet not functioning most of stay.

Good times, little bit of confusion
Had a problem with GPS taking us to a different hotel. Finally got to the BW and checked in. Room was large. We had a king size room with jacuzzi tub. Only problem with the package was the $25 gift card to the restaurant, the place is only opened from 5p-10p. The staff was very helpful with functions and presentations in the city as well as the island. Will stay there again! The Best Value Inn had a king room with jacuzzi for $110 and we paid $145 for champagne and the $25 gift card that we didn't use.

Nightlife on the island is hopping! Once the day stayers leave, the night time is new beast. Good times on the island. Also planning on staying on the island in the future.

Aged Facility But Spacious and Clean
Older hotel made to look new. Sheets, blanket, curtains, carpet, all old but clean. Everything in the bath was clean and functional. My gripe is that the Wi-Fi which is free didn't reach the room which was half-way from the front desk. I could log on but would lose connection. I had to use my phone for internet connection. It was the 4th of July weekend so the rate was high but the guests were quiet. I would stay there again at less than half the room rate I paid.

Ok for the price
Stayed there after riding the Zoo de Mack 50 mile bike race. Location is about a mile from the shops and finish line. Room had mildew smell at first. Had to open door and windows to air it out. They said it was because they had just reopened for the season. It was ok for the price and the fact that I was exhausted and just needed a place to crash for a night. Otherwise, for comfort and cleanliness I'd pay a little more to stay elsewhere.

Good Value for Location
Good location for the price. Front desk very helpful. The breakfast area was open 24/7 so it was a nice place to meet with a group, bring snacks or play games.

Nice but not great
We had a very short stay. The location was great, but the beds were uncomfortable, including the pillows. Breakfast was nice - but it got crowded and not enough space for everyone to sit down.
