Attractive building
I was a little disappointed by the location of this hotel; it appeared to be closer to all the happenings on the online map than it really was. But, in their defense, there was a free shuttle available to get to the ferry going to Mackinac Island. The pool was just okay and the Jacuzzi needs to be fixed. The complimentary breakfast was adequate. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. If I were going to be there longer than one night, I might search for a place closer to the shops and beach.

Be sure to take the ferry over to Mackinac Island and plan on having lunch or dinner over there. It is very quaint and interesting. But, it's not cheap over on the island!

just ok
nothing special ... sauna was locked shut ... "gym" consisted of a single bow flex ! ... and the pool area was below average at best ... breakfast was below average ... Location was the only good thing about the place ......

Can we leave yet
Pool was not functional and had to drive to another to swim and go there for breakfast also since they had no food service delivery. No vending machines stocked and had to go to a gas station for snacks. Dirty brown water out of sink faucets.We should have been informed about their problems about the pool and breakfast before checking in or at least given a discount or voucher for another time.

Great price, great view!
We had a late arrival, but check-in was speedy and effortless. We only stayed for the night and had an early departure. The continental breakfast was a hit!

Not a redo
We stayed in a two room suite. The hide-a-bed when opened was boxed in and we had to crawl over to get in and out of bed. Sounded like they had bats in the walls. Fitness area is nasty. Service was Ok. Location Ok. Nice view of the bridge. Probably would not stay again.

False advertising-Poor Amenities
Advertised on website they had an extensive game room-totally not true. Had 2 coin operated games and a super small torn up pool table about 30 years old. The pool was ice cold and the dry sauna never got above 72 degrees. The hot tub had broken jets. The elevator broke and we were on the 3rd floor, yet the desk clerk refused to help us carry our bags....

Pet and Family friendly
They had lots of stuf for kids and had no problems having dog their. My only problems were the breckfast area in morning not enough room to move around not enough tables a problem I have at every hotel 4 chairs to sit at and 20 people. Also pool area and hot tub out dated and game room dirty.

The Mackinaw fort was near by and beach and light house across the street. I also liked the lighted up Makinaw bridge at night.

My review of Super 8 Motel - Mackinaw City/Bridgeview Area
The hotel was not very clean at all.The location was very close to shopping and dining.It was also very close to the ferry that takes you to Mackinac Island.Location was an A++.The motel it self was a D-.I would not recommend this one.

Good For the Money
The Super 8 hotel was close to down town and had a great view of the Mackinac Bridge. The breakfast had a good variety. The only down fall was there was a lot of running in the halls and you could hear your neighbor turn on the tv at 5am.

Nightly lazer light show in Mackinac Crossings. Maze of mirrors was a blast for my kids.
