Breakfast

The breakfast very poor plastic cutlery and plastic plates and cups not enough seating in resturants. Breakfast times 0630-0830 to early and not enough time for the amount of people using it. Swimming pool not connected you have to go outside, Quick check in and out.

Ferry across street to Macanaw island and you can leave your car on hotel car park all day.

Good Location...will do in a pinch

The only good part of this hotel is the location. It is across from Arnold Ferry. It only offers DOUBLE beds...and those are not overly comfortable. Room was clean. Free breakfast was 6:30-8:30 on the 3rd floor at the hotel next door! Strange connecting corridor to other hotel. NO AIR in the hallways...pool in other hotel as well. Very dissapointing. Wouldn't stay for long period of time but ok in a pinch.

Decent for the price

Good clean hotel. Beds were comfortable. Nice and quiet at night. Breakfast was a little skimpy. Overall it was decent

Mackinaw City Independence Day Trip

Convenient location with lovely view of Lake Huron. Excellent service. Excellent included breakfast including scrambled eggs, sausage and self-made waffles. Hotel across the street from several companies providing boat service to Mackinac Island. This hotel is an excellent value.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

There is a paucity of restaurants in Mackinaw City. I would recommend the Driftwood Restaurant in St. Ignace.

Mackinac City Lakeview Hotel

Hoax fire alarm woke me up at 6am in the morning and messed up my holiday...Wont recommend this hotel to anyone

Fort Mackinac on Mackinac Island is a 20 min ferry ride away. Definitely visit the fort.

Thin walls

I could hear everything that was going on in the hall, the rooms on either side, and the rooms above. I had to deal with kids jumping and screaming to a baby crying all night long and adults guest laughing and carrying on, not to mention the constant doors slamming. We also tried to check in early and were told that we would have to come back. We came back 2 seperate times before we were allowed to check in. This was not like other hotels we have stayed at where we have always been allowed to check in early.
