nice experience
Room is clean and neat, everything you need in a hotel is there. Comfortable and cozy. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. I wish they had two bedrooms instead of one in the family suite, but just a minor complaint.

Good Value - Great Location -
We stayed here three nights for the Mackinac Island 8 Mile race - looking for an affordable place on a busy weekend. We've stayed at almost every beachfront place here over the years and I can say that the Baymont has the most comfortable beds of the lot. It is also within easy walking distance of everything - good eats - shopping - ferry docks - theater.... I left my watch in the spa area one day - asked at the desk the next - it was returned with a smile - how refreshing! Breakfast room is well run - clean - good. 'Nuff said - it's a nice, clean place off the beach but close to everything else at a decent price. Cons: old tube TVs with no inputs and no minifridge or micro in room - standard in most other area lodging = these are the only reasons for lesser ratings on amenities and value.

Keyhole Bar and Grill on Huron (the main street) has the best burgers - chicken - with a real local atmosphere and good prices. Mama Mia's pizza shop and bridge museum is another must-try, too.

Great Location for shopping
You advertized on line as pet friendly but when we checked in we were told the following: (our dog weighs 5lbs-5oz fully grown) 1-Their would be a charge of $10.00 a day for the dog. 2-Had to fill out a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper with with restriction on the dog & sign. 3-Dog paid his stay but wasn't given anything for breakfast.

Wonderful hotel and great location
We were here for the bridge walk weekend. Had a great trip! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We will be back next year!

Perfect location
Perfect experience except for a child in room above us running back and forth across room at 5:30 in the morning. Talked to manager and he offered to let us move to another room. The shopping center and downtown are about a block away and Sheplers ferry is about 2 to 3 blocks away. Plenty of food nearby. Great experience

Perfect stress reliever!!!
The hotel is located in a convenient spot to walk to everything and easy to get to from the expressway. The staff was remarkably friendly from the front desk clerk to the man that was stocking the breakfast bar. If you want luxury this is not you place but if you want a comofortable, clean, friendly, well priced place in Mackinaw City this is.

Laid back get away.
Traveled for the holiday weekend as a couple with a small dog. None of the information I found on the hotel mentioned the pet policy so I will. They charge a minimal $10 fee for the length of the pets stay and they do not allow the pet to be unaccompanied in the room (it would have been helpful to know this ahead of time). Overall it was a good hotel and our stay was faultless. We would stay again if in the area.
