The fun begins with fast and easy self-service check-in kiosks at Hyatt Place Detroit Livonia. This modern Farmington Hills hotel offers around-the-clock amenities near Detroit. Head to the fitness center, get online with free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, check e-mail at the public computer, watch the game in the TV den or order meals, snacks and beverages all 24 hours a day. Hang out by the indoor swimming pool or walk to movie theaters and restaurants. Free continental breakfast and large TVs in guest rooms are a bonus.

Hyatt Place Detroit/Livonia
the Sheraton of Novi is way better and less expensive. The Sheraton was full and we were not impressed with the Hyatt at all.

Mitchell's Seafood is right down the road and it is awesome...try the cajun oysters. Fleming's steakhouse is very very good too! Best steaks ever :)

My stay at Hyatt Place Detroit/Livonia was one of the most pleasurable stays that I have had as a traveler. From the unique modern layout that greets you in the lobby to the room that was every much a suite, Hyatt Place was a gem. The proximity of the hotel to the interstate highway and its location neighbored by four wonderful restaurants and a movie theater complex were real pluses. Other positives were the attentive staff , the complimentary breakfasts, and the free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. A great value --I'll be back for sure.

Short trip to childhood home area
Very comfortable accomodations with wifi, big screen tv, plenty of fluffy towels, refrigerator, sink, desk area, couch, and delicious, complimentary hot and cold breakfast and drink selections.

We got in late. No room service or bar. The front desk person informed us there is a Fred Meijer Supermarket nearby open 'til 2 AM. A very helpful tip.

Great value
This was perferct for an overnight business trip. I like the speed of the check-in kiosk at the front door. The room was clean and comfortable.

Very nice room
Good value for the room! Continental breakfast is decent, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Good water pressue in the shower. Nice TV....Good experience!

Great getaway for couples
This hotel was phenomenal. It was cheap and was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Me and my boyfriend wanted to get away to celebrate our one year anniversary. We have traveled quite a bit and have stayed in many hotels. I am VERY picky with where I stay and this place not only had a homey feeling but was also in a great location. There was a restaurant and theater right in the same parking lot and other restaurants not too far away. We decided to go out on the town and the staff provided us with taxi numbers (decent prices). ALSO-- they had a small bar that was open until midnight and one of the best parts was that there kitchen was open 24 hours!!! GREAT place and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get away and have a nice, fun and relaxing night!!!! P.S. Rooms look exactly like they do in the pictures, which surprised me. So you will not be fooled with this hotel =) ENJOY!
