Just 6 miles from Capital City Airport, Red Roof Lansing West is 2 miles from Lansing Mall, 5 miles from the Michigan State Capitol, 10 minutes from downtown Lansing and 15 minutes from Michigan State University. This hotel located near a wide variety of restaurants.

Better Location next time!

I did appreciate the room, but the location was a bit far from where I wanted to be. There is said to be one around or close to Waverly Rd. which would have been a bit better for me to get to where I wanted to be or go to. But the service was good, and the people were wonderful thank you!!!!!!!!! Pastor Anthony Harrell.

Though the dinning was close, where I needed to be for who I was going to meet there, it was not. It was much far away.

Cheap for overnight sleep

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. we just wanted a place to sleep for the night. Nothing fancy and that is what it was/

budget hotel lives up to it's billing

We were just looking for a place to sleep on a trip from Arizona to Toronto. This hotel provides the basics well enough; adequate bed, good shower, tv and wireless internet. Everything worked well but the night was chilly and the heater was noisy. All in all, a good value for the money if you are just sleeping over.

Red Roof Inn Lansing West

Hotel was clean, quiet, easy to reach from the highway. Beds comfortable, though decor was dated. Surprised two guests there had dogs stay with them.

Family Visit

The purpose of our trip was visiting family... Now obviously, Red Roof is a budget hotel and it does not rise above the budget category. This hotel was clean and comfortable. Quick check in and quick check out. Everything worked well. And the cost was less than $50.00/night.

Good price for trip!

It was nice and clean. But the non-smoking room smelt like smoke. The price and the location was perfect for our weekend events.
