Nice lengthy stay
Was taking a course at MSU. Good stay for the price. Several grocery stores and good restaurants nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. Quiet, and could study fine. Plenty of food places nearby, as well as a Kinkos for printing, and the hotel's wireless Internet and laundry facilities worked great.

Great hotel
The hotel was very nice. The rooms were clean and spacious. Since it was cold the pool was not open but, the hotel was close to everything, in a great area and near the beltway. The hotel staff was friendly and offered me advice regarding what are safe and affordable housig areas in Lansing. additionally, the hostess provided me free coffee after 10 am which was greatly appreciated.

Basic But Acceptable
Staff was attentive and helpful. The room was basic, but that's all I needed. It was quiet, clean, the bed was comfortable. I'd stay there again if I needed an inexpensive place to sleep in Lansing.

A bare-bones Motel 6, but well-kept and clean.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this older, but well-kept motel. Good helpful staff. Close to many amenities. Slightly hidden behind an excellent Denny's restaurant, but very quiet. We stayed during a MSU homecoming and sleep peacefully. We'll have no problem going back when we visit our son in Lansing.

Scary
Though the staff was friendly and the room ok, the rooms seemed to be rented to local people with many kids and friends coming and going all night. Cars were driving through the parking lot like they were looking for someone. It was a bit scary and I don't think I will stay they again

Motel 6
The rooms were dirty and the floor was weak. Bedding was terrible. Second day, the maids did not replace the towels or leave new soap.

A Night's Sleep
I got there about 11pm. The girl at the desk was informally dressed, bordering on unkempt, but she was friendly and helpful. My room was dingy-looking, though I noticed no dirt in particular, with white stucco walls, worn carpet, and no particular odor except maybe that of worn carpet. My bed was adequate. I heard maybe one bump from inside, and teenagers' voices once from outside during the evening. I slept well and was awakened by the wake-up call in time to get checked out and on the road to my 8am meeting. It was about 40 bucks, and I could afford that better than the alternatives.

Time-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
A gas station is at the entrance, and several fast-food or sit-down eating places (Bennigans-type) were within an easy walk.
