Far from Campus, inflexible manager
First of all, for anybody wanting to stay close to campus this is way too far. There's the Marriott off MAC and the Townplace suites off of Hagadorn (Technically off of Hannah Blvd) that are walking distance. It's basically extortion this place charges $247 after taxes for one night. Secondly I called 5 days before my stay (and it took over 30 hours to get a hold of the manager), and Caitlin refused to refund any of my $247 if I were to cancel. Now she did mention it stated in an email their 7 day policy. But you mean to tell me they couldn't fill that a room with 5 days before a home Michigan State football game? I fully understand the policy, but I'm disappointing in their "That's the policy and that's it" tone of voice over the phone. The manager, and other employees just continued to repeat the 7 day policy on the phone, offering no explanation other than "its policy". I will not be making another reservation here.

Perfect Stay!
Rented this room for the night of a football game! The provided shuttle services to and from the stadium ! Cold beer in the lobby, and a cafe for a nice breakfast the next morning!! And we didn't have to check out until NOON!! Super nice after a late night tailgating!!

Cheap hotel for the price
We picked the hotel presumably for high standard of the name from previous stay, but this particular one is cheap on basicly everything. Bed comfort was poor, and I cannot imagine placing coffee maker in the bathroom by facebowl. How tacky! I thought Marriot is a classy hotel, well i guess not. This is the cheapest and nasty hotel i have ever stayed in.

Good Choice for Lansing
Convenient location close to MSU. Friendly staff. No real restaurant, but a glorified snack bar, for all meals.

pleasant stay
Due to street closures, I was lost in Lansing at 10 pm. The desk clerk went above and beyond to 'walk me in' to the Hotel. She was efficient, polite, and sympathetic. The hotel was clean and quiet. What could have become a nightmare, turned into a safe evening. I would definitely stay again.

The decor was awesome, and the service was friendly. However, the bed was so uncomfortable I actually slept on the couch instead! There is a nice bistro in the hotel and the food is great- basically everything was awesome except the bed.

Nice Rooms Poor Bistro Service
Overall very restful, but nothing extraordinary. The "quick" service restaurant (the Bistro), for breakfast at least, was woefully understaffed, and those working were often distracted by other hotel personnel.
