Night Out

Not a bad overnight stay. Room was clean-iron was missing though. No alarm clock, so I'm glad I had my phone for that. Overall, nothing special, but worth the cost.

Just what I needed

The location was great. The gas station was next door . Places to pickup food very close an A+.I got up early and the lobby had continental breakfast so the coffee and muffin was great at 6 a.m. also watched the news and weather report about Irene.I was really suprised to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room that was great !So over all I enjoyed my visit and will return if needed.

A good value

Room was nice for the price. We could have used a couple more towel and the tub area needed a little work...but the air conditioning worked great and it was quiet at night. Great Value.

better choices out there

Went for the 2011 air show decided to stay here because it was Between battle creek and warren dunes. The lobby looked promising but the rooms were not clean the air conditioner stunk like old socks and the pool area is rundown. Not worth the money it is in level with knights inn in quality but 40 dollars more expensive . No more econo lodge for our family they talk a good talk but so far the two we have stayed in no worth 70 dollars a night

In serious need of repair

Got a great deal on a two night stay for the Kalamazoo soccer tournament over the weekend. It advertises that it is newly renovated, but the only part that looked new was the lobby. Our room was clean, but very outdated, and the tub and shower was poorly repaired. Beds were uncomfortable, and pillows were flat. Staff was helpful, and continental breakfast was fresh. WIFI signal was almost non-existant. Pool was nice and clean. I'd stay again if it was overhauled and completely updated

Bare Bones

I knew that I was getting a bed and a TV. I wasn't disappointed in that regard. The room was clean, the TV worked, but after that...There were a couple of bugs I couldn't identify; the clerk told me they were outside bugs coming in as the weather cooled. The shower head was so old and loose, I couldn't get it to stay in one place. Continental breakfast was about as basic as it could be. You get what you pay for, and this place was cheap! I'd nver bring my kids there. I didn't know you could have a hotel that didn't have sprinklers, but this one didn't have any.
