Kids really enjoyed the pool and felt the room was comfortable. Pizza place was close for a quick dinner. Good value for the money, but I also had a 15% coupon. Otherwise, value wouldn't have been as good. I would recommend this hotel.

Easily accessible with large comfortable rooms. Very good value for the price. Amenities were a bit lacking.

Only hot water in first shower. Had to shower in a second room. Later in the day got transferred to a third room. Had a PC available to guests, however could not connect to the internet.

Great price, friendly, helpful staff, room was clean and and had good features. Only negative was website suggested heated pool and hit tub and the pool area was closed with no hot tub. We will still use this hotel on future trips though, enjoyed it, good location.

couldn't get into our room the second night-key cards wouldn't work!! Front desk woman finally got us in after about 30 minutes and changed our room. They took $20 off the stay. That was OK but could of taken a day off instead!!! They have a wonderful dining area but no breakfast!!! Very disappointing having a "bag breakfast" and I don't believe this was mentioned on their web site???? But overall, it was clean and quiet and those are some of the important aspects of a hotel for me!!

My son was in a bowling tournament in Portage. I decided to spend the weekend with my son. The ad listed they had a pool. It had a pool, but it was closed. The room door did not shut properly. There were only a few towels in the room. There were no cups for water. The mattresses were hard. The continental breakfast was toast, small danishes, cereal, and very weaqk coffee. The only good thing I can say was that it was right down the street from where my son was bowling.

We arrived at the hotel about 9:45 pm. The clerk said the computer system was down and she was doing everything by hand. She said there was no reservation in my name. I showed her my printed confirmation and she looked through her records and did find a reservation for someone with the exact same name as me, but living in a different state and using a different credit card. She assumed it was me and booked me in that room. However, when I went to the room, it was already occupied. She said she'd have to clean a room for me because she was the only person working that night. After waiting approximately 1 1/2 hours while many more people arrived and were either given a room or turned away (all of whom had reservations), I finally was shown to my room. She actually didn't have to clean the room but because her computer system was down, she didn't know she had empty, clean rooms available. The room itself was clean and the beds were comfortable but I didn't have pillowcases and the towels were about 2/3 the size of regular towels. In the morning (after only about 6 hours of sleep) the hot water ran out and we had cold showers.

Customer service and room quality were definitely missing from this hotel. I travel in the area frequently and while the location was good I will be staying somewhere else next time.
