Cant beat the price and location!
For the price and location you really cant ask for more. The other hotels in that area run around $100 to $150. The hotel is right off the highway and one minute from down town. The rooms are basic...dont expect anything special. This hotel is a place to lay your head down and get a shower not a vacation spot. The rooms are older and could use some updating, but everything was clean and worked. The only problem we had was we asked for non smoking room and the sign stated it was non smoking, however smelled like someone had been smoking in it for years. Beyond that we really couldnt complain for the price. The staff was friendly and check in was fast and easy. I would ask for extra towels right then and there if there are two or more of you. There were only two or three bath towels and they were fairly small and thin. There is shopping across the street, a lot of restaurants and couple of gas stations right in the area. This place was not bad at all.....remember you get what you pay for.

Bob Evans across the street was perfect for breakfast. Have great service, good food and was fairly fast. Also my favorite....Starbucks in the next parking lot!

Not so great
The bathroom floor was very dirty. We were asked to use the same towels for "going green" but didn't receive clean wash clothes or soap during our 3 night stay. The TV did not work properly - very limited stations. No amenities such as shampoo or blow dryer. We weren't expecting much but were disappointed with the basics. We were attending the Nascar Sprint Cup race in Brooklyn, MI and are aware that the prices go up during this event.

reasonablly priced, good location
we stayed at this hotel for the michigan race in june, it was nice to have a pool, room were clean, but needs some work. a mini fridge in room would have been nice. this is our 3rd year to michigan race, we stayed at other hotel and motels that were nicer and better for about the same price.

a lot of restaurants just down the road was good to know as well as a beer store and grocery if needed. All within a short drive.

Great location for the price
While in Jackson, I was able to play golf at the Jackson Country club, about 15 minutes from the motel. I also participated in a bowling tournament at the 60 lane bowling center, also only 15 minutes away. There are several good dining places to eat at. I have stayed at the Motel 6 each of the 5 times I have been to Jackson, and enjoyed my stay each time.

the staff was friendly and helpful it was a quiet area very easy to find and a good location plenty of shopping and resturants close by the bathroom was clean but in need of help the drain was cloged in the tub and there was an area of tile missing from the floor

Jackson's Great, Hotel's Ok
Basic Accomodations
Jackson is a great small city to visit, and this motel puts you within minutes of much of it with the very minimum of amenities. The motel is spread out and is not conducive to walking. The staff was less than friendly, but provided adequate service. I will be back in Jackson, but I am not sure about this motel.

The Cascade Waterfalls (man-made) are beautiful and a must see, and combined with ice cream at the historic parlour called The Parlour makes for a fun evening.
