Fine business accommodation
Had to be in town for one night on business. I pay my own way (own the small business) - always looking for reasonable rates and nice rooms - this was perfect - clean room, nice atmosphere, good breakfast. Last week had to spend two nights in downtown Indianapolis - 2 nights = $350.00. Essentially same room & atmosphere (slightly better breakfast - but who cares); I paid more than 3 times more per night in Indy for about the same experience. I'll take the Iron Mountain Super 8 every day.

Long walk from hotel
Romagnoli's down the street for either an inexpensive Italian meal or a mid-level steak (around $18.00 for house special ~6 or 8 ounce beef tenderloin 'open face' was a great value for a great meal. For a salad have the House bleu cheese dressing - it's an Italian oil & vinegar topped with loads of dry bleu cheese crumbles. Four beers and a side of sauteed mushrooms (extra $) ran the tab up to $30.00 (plus tip) - but I'd do it exactly the same way again.

The bathroom was exceptionally clean,dining room was kept clean and sanitary, need more tables though , tends to be crowded but the food was fresh and good. The wireless connection worked well for my laptop, a quiet motel and comfortabel.I have reserved another stay at this motel.

great nature walk around the lake, about 5miles all natural preserve. Fumee Lake.
