Great place to stay!

Everyone there was pleasant. Not one person was rude. Customer service was excellent!!! The room was clean. The continental breakfast, although limited, was very good. They also recommended a restaurant that was right next door. Best burger I have ever had!!! We will be staying there again!

Do not stay here

Outside appearance made it look like a rent-by-the-hour motel, no elevator, room did not have a pleasant odor, towels were small and thread-bare. Could hear noises from other rooms. Breakfast was minimum at best with poor choices. I left after one night of a two-night booking. Second night was non-refundable. I would not recommend this motel. Buyer beware !!

Decent stay for the price

We were in Holland for a weekend long swim meet. The hotel was exactly as expected. Clean, comfortable and simple. We had none of the problems previously experienced by other lodgers. We could open our windows and the room was clean and did not smell. Our only complaint, and honestly it is minimal, the room did not have enough outlets for all our electronics. We were vying for outlets with a fridge, microwave, the tv and all the lights. We ended up purchasing a power strip.

Great deal. The rooms are small, but we actually sat outside and enjoyed the early spring weather. I had called ahead and asked for a quiet room and they set us up on the 2nd floor far end, best sleep we have had when traveling for sports. The continental breakfast was set up early so we could eat before the meet. Staff was great, very friendly and accomodating.

Holland

Stayed while visiting the Tulip Time festival; was in hotel long enought to sleep. Bed was a little soft, but room was good sized and clean. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was sufficient with fresh rolls and fruit. Price was high due to festival weekend.

Comfortable and very clean

We drove to the Dutch village and walked around, drove to and then walked to Windmill Island and visited with a Hope College student. The motel was a great price and allowed us to use the money saved to do other things. The motel was right off Hwy 31 and that made it easier to drive to Grand Rapids and Chicago. We might even take the train to Chicago from Holland next time we are in Holland. The front desk people were helpful and very nice, calling places to see/visit, in Holland, to see if there was an entrance fee and if they were open in the end of October. There was plenty to eat at breakfast and it was available till well after 9:30AM. [...] We would stay here again! There was also a computer available in the lobby for the guests and that was nice, as I didn't have a laptop.

Everything was within a short driving distance. None of the attractions had motels next to them, so no matter where you stayed you would have to drive.

Old hotel. But very clean.

The room rate was excellant. The hotel was old but very clean. The front desk lady's were awesome and friendly, however Tue. we went down for the breakfast and it was all cleaned up before 9:00am. The guy that was working the desk was rude and didn't speak very good english.

Sleepless Night

I don't know if it was unuque to my 1st floor room or not, but the noise coming from upstairs made it impossible to get a good nights sleep. Very poor soundproofing between floors. Every footstep, toilet flush etc. was very very loud. Next time, I'll ask for a 2nd floor room.

Not Bad for a Night

This was an average room in an average hotel. The mini-fridge and microwave were a nice touch, though the fridge was actually too small to hold the 2-liter pop we had delivered with our Domino's pizza. (The fridge itself was big enough but not with the shelf in it.) I was disappointed that there was no wifi as advertised. I also didn't like that we had to have an upstairs room. It was ok, though, and I'd stay again if nothing else was available. The price is good and it's not too far from restaurants, The Wooden Shoe Factory, etc.
