Adequate and clean room for reasonable rate.

I was told two connections to use for the Wi-fi but neither worked. The continental breakfast was a choice of Fruit Loops or Cornflakes, milk and coffee. This was the least breakfast we had the whole trip. Also, we only stayed one night. We had changed the reservation the week before to just one night. We were thankful that we didn't have to stay there longer.

Ok for the price

Most of our family stayed at a property several miles away and paid about $40 higher for similar hotel. All in all not bad for the price. If looking for a bed and nothing else this was worth it.

Good Value

I was pleasantly surprised to find the room well-maintained and comfortable. No saggy or overly firm mattress. The coke and snack machines were not working but they had a small selection in the lobby. I stayed an additional three days.

Nice place

I read several other reviews and wonder if I had made the right hotel choice. My experience was great! Easy to get too. Amenities were simple but clean and well kept. I'll be staying there again. If you're expecting mints on your pillow this is not the place to stay but overall the people were pleasant and the room was clean.

Clean, Good Location

The staff was very friendly, our room was immaculate, and the location is great. I have no complaints! I should tell you, though, that if you're accustomed to staying at the Ritz, this is not the place for you. My husband and I are most comfortable in economy-style hotels, and this one comes in near the top of that heap. The room was on the large side compared to what we are used to, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Could be better

From the outside and inside you can tell it's an older run down used to be Super 8. It's sad when you have spent $45 on a motel 6 and this hotel (+/- $106) made that Motel 6 feel like a 4 star hotel. No soundproofing between rooms. When you can hear your neighbor's conversation over their hair drier there is something to be said. As far as the bed I might as well have used the floor. The warn down carpet was probably more plush. I will never stay at this hotel for any reason. It works for a place to stay if you are falling asleep behind the wheel, but for a few more dollars stay at a different hotel that you will enjoy.

Not quite what I expected

This hotel is old and the equivalent of a run down old Red Roof Inn. I wasn't expecting the Hilton but as someone who travels a lot, I was expecting it not to have $39.99 a night feel. The person at the front desk (who is what I assume one of the owners) never checked my ID when checking in. The TV in my room didn't work because its about 20-30 years old. She finally got it to work after about 30 minutes. Instead of a hotel lobby that has real furniture, this one has black fold up chairs (about 6 of them). Instead of a soda machine, they have an old convenience store case that has a smattering of overpriced cans of soda. This is the worst hotel that I've stayed in in the last two years. Don't stay at this hotel. Pay the extra $50 and stay at one of the real three star hotels.

Lobby a bit shabby, room pretty nice

The lobby isn't very impressive, and has a lingering smell to it that isn't exactly attractive. The clerk was nice enough, and made sure everything was to our liking. When we got to the room, it was clean, cooled, and scented. Housekeeping removed our trash and made the bed while we were out. Nothing was taken from our room. The door has a peephole and a deadbolt for extra security. Bathroom includes a small bar of soap and ample towels and toilet paper. A small selection of breakfast foods were available for free in the morning, including coffee and juice. The hotel itself is located across the street from a good Chinese-style buffet which was very good and very affordable, and is within walking distance from a nice nature park with plenty of trails and a river. Would recommend for a budget hotel; definitely worth the money.

I am suprised there wasn't bedbugs

This was one of the worst hotels that I have stayed in a long time. The hotel smelled awful from the moment I entered the lobby. The staff was not very professional or friendly. The rooms smelled of old, stale cigarette smoke and the walls were yellowed. The breakfast was pitiful at best. This place was in need of a major overhaul.

OK, but arrogant proprietor

This is a typical motel where you get what you pay for. However, considering the fact that their check-out time (11 AM) is below industry standard, I asked if I could get an extra hour, and the owner told me that that wouldn't be a problem, as long as I paid extra. In my experience, hotels either let you stay an extra hour (90% of the cases) or don't honor your request (10%) They never tried to extort money off me till now... This is the kind of small business that shouldn't be supported!!! P.S. Their breakfast is virtually non-existent, and the owner's response was "Who needs breakfast?!"
