Great room just to relax.
King size bed was very comfortable. It would have been nice to have a table in the room. Few TV channels also. Computer hookup was good and the mini fridge and microwave was greatly appreciated. Will definitely book here again.

This hotel is really tired.
Run down and tired. Not a restful respite. You can do better for a little more money.

Arnies Restaurant and Bakery on 28th St. We always eat there when we are in Grand Rapids.

Basic Needs
This was a Red Roof Inn, so I guess I shouldn't have expected more than the very basics. And to be fair the staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean enough. But the ketchup-sized packet of shampoo and complete lack of any amenities was a little disappointing. Still, the hotel's location was perfect and there were many places to eat and shop within a stones throw. So as long as you're not expecting much and just looking for a place to sleep, it was more than adequate.
