Ramada Plaza Grand Rapids MI

I have never slept better in a hotel! The beds were very comfortable and the hallways were quiet. The staff was extremely amenable. The shuttle was available for my needs. A mall sits behind the hotel and does not require crossing the highway. My room was kept clean. The breakfast was tasty and well stocked. All in all, I personally have never had a better hotel experience, even in a 5 star!

We stayed one night (as we had booked). We got their at noon (check in is 4 p.m.) but they told us that the room would be ready at 2 p.m. so we went and ate and came back at 2:30 p.m. The room was not ready and we had to wait. The "waterpark" was a joke - a small pool and one slide. I don't think that makes it a waterpark. Four drunks decided to party outside my room at 2 a.m. I called the desk and it took 20 minutes to move the party. An hour later it was a drunken party of 4 girls. In the morning when I was in the lobby the front desk asked how my night was I brought up the partying and she said the desk had not received any calls and that there were no problems and that there were no calls on the log. They did give me a $25 dollar credit when I checked out but I had to put up with a very unpleasant front desk person by the name of Reah. Won't go there again! Neither will the rest of my family - we had a total of 6 rooms - their loss!

Overall worked well for our need. Will recommend for others depending on their purpose of trip.

Has what you need: airport shuttle service, restaurant, mall nearby. Good value.

the housekeeping staff needs to remember that I am paying the same rate everyday and therefore needs to replace ALL supplies used and not think that it is ok NOT to replenish the roome.

Everything was perfect! Very clean, well staffed and comfortable.

Accommodating staff sums everything up for this hotel. From the shuttle driver who hurried to pick me up from the airport well after midnight, the front desk personnel who were always courteous, to the hospitality staff who actually listened to every request I had (just 1 towel and a bar of soap today, or my sink is running a little slowly to I need the trash emptied, more shampoo, cream rinse, and cups). When I returned, everything was correct, every time. I feel that anyone's opinion of a hotel, is based primarily on their interactions with the hotel staff. This staff made it a pleasure staying at the Ramada Plaza Grand Rapids.

I had a blast with my grown children and my young grnadsons. We all played for hours in the water park. The slide is a blast. The pool attendants as well as the desk staff are always warm and friendly and helpful. My room was lovely and clean.

The lobby is fine. The elevator, carpets, furniture and decor are extremely worn & dated. I was really uncomfortable staying here & couldn't wait to check out. The gatehouse suites are right across the parking lot & provide a much better option for the same price.

The room and the staff were good. The breakfast was not very good. They even charged for it. This is something that most all other hotels in this catagorie, supply as part of the room charge.
