Motel 6 Grand Rapids East Airport

i will never book a room that is a cheap rate if i do not call to see if people are living there!! i feel bad for them but it was a run down place with doors that were not secured ever people obviously smoking in non smoking rooms it was thick in halls i should have paid five dollars more a night and stayed at super 8 at least

I stayed there one night while on business, it was absolutely disgusting. The sheets were dirty and contained pubic hairs. I slept on top of the blankets. The pillows were dirty and I slept on my arm. The other rooms were very loud. After a brief 6 hour "nap", I went to take a shower, there was no shampoo (unlike any other motel). Over poor stay, but I guess what do yo expect for forty bucks.

Excellent location, close to stores and restaurants. Beds were not very comfortable, shower was too small, no clock in the room and the rear door on my floor was never locked. Not real secure. Unfortunately when you pay this low rate, you get a certain type of people who stay there. I mistakenly chose this location and will make sure I choose the correct one next time.

The hotel was not clean and it was noisly most of the night. Curtains were not placed correctly so everyone on the street can see you while you are sleeping

In town for graduation. Wish we would of discovered this place 4 years ago !

Rooms were o.k. No alarm clock, no coffee maker or hair dryer were provided. O.k. for a quick overnight stay. Would not stay there for more than a night.

The room wasn't luxury by any stretch of the imagination. The room was a bit older and the parking lot had a few potholes (this was Michigan after all!). But the room was clean and large enough for our family of four. It was central to everything we wanted to do. Except for the fact that the phone didn't work for two of the days, this is ideal for inexpensive family travel.

although this hotel was cheap and fairly clean - and would have been a great bargain - we were placed on a "Party Floor" where EVERYONE on the floor was out in the hallways drinking and stumbling around drunk, playing loud music, arguing, singing, and actually fighting. As this group constituted over 50 people, we did not dare even come out of our room to ask anyone to quiet down - and YOU wouldn`t have either. I blame this entirely on the girl at the office downstairs who was aware of everything and did nothing. She will have to be replaced with a worker if there is going to be any change. If you don`t mind being held captive in your room out of fear and kept up all night when you are exhausted and paying good money to sleep, this one`s for you !

Negative: Tiny bugs on the carpet & on the bathroom floor. Remote did not match the TV & was therefore unadjustable for color, brightness, contrast, etc., via the remote. Positive: Less expensive to make reservation online directly with Motel 6 than through Orbitz. Orbitz survey needs a "Does not apply" option.

This Motel 6 was very clean and convenient. The staff was top notch and my room was very clean and confortable. I did need a Microwave and they didn't have one but they are conveniently located near many resturants and Convenient stores and I found everything I needed close to the motel. It was a very good stay and I have already recommended them to my family as a stop on their way to Muskegon. They plan to stay there as well. I have even thought about going back just to shop the neighborhood and stay there. Mine was a business meeting in Grand rapids but I will surely be back. Also, I thought very highly of how my room was furnished. A table and chair for dining and a desk and chair to write my reports. It was perfect. Even the bathroom was more comfortable than most and roomy. this was a true find.
