Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GRAND RAPIDS AIRPORT

Had a great stay in Grand Rapids visiting schools. The hotel was pretty close to everyplace we needed to be and was out of the way of traffic. Clean and quiet with nice TVs, and a friendly staff. Free breakfast, a nice indoor pool and 24 workout room rounded everything out. I'll probably stay there again on my next visit

the staff here was extremely friendly and accommodating! excellent continental breakfast, large rooms..right off the highway..and everything was so conveniently locatedTHIS is the hotel to stay at in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

We had a comfortable stay in this all-suite hotel. Rooms could be updated, but were clean. Conveniently located off 28th Street near freeways and lots of shopping and restaurants. There is a complimentary breakfast bar. I would stay here again.

I was in the Grand Rapids for 12 days. The hotel worked out great because it gave me a little more room than a standard hotel. The frigerator and microwave worked out great when I had leftovers from eating out. The breakfast in the morning had enough variety to keep you going till lunch. Got to enjoy the pool and hot tub on a few nights. Didn't get a chance to use the workout room. My only complaint was I could not seem to get the temperature of the room cool enough. With winter coming maybe this is a good thing. The staff at the desk were extremely helpful and friendly. In fact all the staff went over and beyone to greet you and be helpful

They gave us the worst possible first floor room facing a maintenance area with noisey operating air handler outide. We asked for a second floor better room but was told that since this was a third party reservation, through [...], they could not move us to the second floor but gave as another first floor room further from the noise and with a better view. A bad start but otherwise a good choice. Good breakfasts.

Not worth staying at. Way too far from Airport and hidden behind a discount store.

Very nice place to stay! Close to just about everything. The rock concert was just a few blocks away. Any kind of food you could want within about a mile.

Be alert and don't make my mistake of mixing up the "Holiday Inn Airport " (full service) with the "Holiday Inn Express and Suites Airport" - despite the fact that it advertises as having restaurants within "walking distance. The location was not good-it was too far to walk in the dark to the nearest restaurant. I didn't rent a car which was a mistake, but perhaps this post will alert others to do so. Having said all that, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was decent.
