Quality Inn Gaylord

I was treated rudely right from the start. We booked a "suite" I thought with whirlpool tub that was PET FRIENDLY, Upon arrival I was told there were NO rooms available like this and I should have booked my room directly through them and not orbitz. The manager was very rude and unfriendly and angry !! She didnt want to give us a room that we had PRE-Payed and PRE-booked !! I told her I drove over 4 hours to get here and already paid this rate for the room and she then reluctantly gave us an OLD SMOKING ROOM that was drab, ugly and probably hadnt been used in forever. The whirlpool bath took hours to fill and we found out was leaking the water back out as quickly as we were filling it !! When my husband told her the next day she said she would have to tell maintenance. We never seen maintenace and were disgusted with the room and service. We checked out and didnt even stay our last PAID night because it was soooooo bad !!!!!

Convenient location

The Quality Inn in Gaylord, Michigan was the perfect location for our two night stay to attend a soccer tournament. However, I will never return to this Hotel. Room was completely infested with ants. I'm not talking just a few--the floor was moving. The front desk was very apologetic and moved us to a different (non-smoking) room which was MUCH better. When we were moving our stuff out of the room my husband mentioned to the housekeeper that we were moving to a different room because of the ants. She held up a can of ant spray and said that is why I have this. Obviously the hotel was quite aware there was a problem before sticking us into this room. The staff was very nice and friendly. I have no complaints there. The hotel was extremely overpriced. Feel I should have been compensated for the one night stay in a smoking, ant infested room.

HOTEL WAS GREAT, CLEAN AND QUIET. JUST STAYED ONE NIGHT. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT.

The Quality Inn in Gaylord, MI is a reasonably priced hotel, with a pool and spa. For larger families, they offer well priced suites, with two bedrooms and a kitchenette. The restaurant was not what I had hoped (service VERY slow), but there are lots of good restaurants in the area.

Our stay at the Quality Inn in Gaylord was very comfortable. We checked in and out with great ease. Our room was clean and very quiet. I liked the fact that there is a restaurant on site even though we did not use it.

We had a good night's sleep in comfortable beds; the pool was right outside our window but there was no noise problem because it was actually in a separate building. Quiet and comfortable.
