Comfortable and Quiet

After a long, tedious drive for business, I want a comfortable bed, a clean room, and peace and quiet. Gaylord's Hampton has all three, plus a good breakfast. I stayed there 3 times this fall and will stay there again any time I have to spend the night in Gaylord. The beds are fabulous.

Checked in late, no problems, I should have known better but never 1st floor, never, cleaning lady dorkin around in the cleaning closet at 5am, door slamming etc. LOUD!!!! and heater/cooler unit on window was super dirty, lots of dirt and weird stuff on the vent.... worked though, bed was comfortable...

NIce Hotel

We went skiing at Boyne mountain and decided to stay at this hotel since it was close to 75. The drive to Boyne was quick (30 minutes or so) and coming back on 75 was nice. The hotel had a nice pool (though we didn't use it but a lot of other people did) and the breakfast was above average.. they have two waffle makers. The rooms were great and the housekeeper left us a Reese's Cup after she cleaned the room with a personalized note. Very nice hotel/staff!

Nightlife tip: Short drive from hotel

There was a bar we found that was a lot of fun. Started with a T.. Tom's Bar maybe. They played current dancing music, had karaoke and good food. I think I drank the name away from my memory!

Family Getaway

The breakfast was good. The pool was decent size, but the hot tub wasn't hot. There was mold in the bathtub in our room. The room was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. I would deffinately stay at this hotel again and recommend to friend and family.

We ate dinner at the Sugar Bowl. It doesn't look like it would be much but the food was incredible. My husband and I split a meal and we still had some left over. IT was reasonably priced for the amount. I would also recommend it to my friends and family.
