A place to stay
The breakfast is the worst ever: dry cereal, old hard boiled eggs and stale toaster waffles. No srambled eggs and no bacon or sausage. Bowls and utensils were not clean. The room itself was fine(no refrigerator). It is a maze to get to the pool and dining room, if you are on the second foor. And their is no elevator for luggage transport. I would not pay to stay at this lodge again.

Labor Day Weekend R&R
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was easy to reach from the freeway and major roads. The facility wasn't fancy, yet it was clean, comfortable and served the needs to have a place to shower, sleep and relax after a whole day of outdoor activities. Free internet connection was a plus. Even though the room was labeled "non smoking", it was probably smoked at one time because the odor of nicotine was still detectable mixed with the odor of the heavy duty cleaner. The TV reception could be better. Four stars.

Dining tip:

There are local diners that are not listed in travel brochures that were very good and reasonably priced. Hotel staff was very helpful in that respect.

It was nice. The rooms are a little older but the ammenities such as the pool area and restraunt were great. It is just off the expressway so no dragging through town if not necessary. Older, but clean and nice family pool area.
