Super 8 Flint Miller Rd/Airport

Impressed with remodel of hotel. Room was clean and breakfast was decent enough for me before I hit the road. No irons or ironing boards in room had to borrow from front desk. Small incontinence. Staff were friendly. Hotel is in secluded area area but no issues on my stay. Photos on website are actually photos of current rooms.

The hallways were just as cold as the outdoors, dark and dreary. I booked a King size bed and ended up with a queen that had a cavern in the middle of it. The box springs were broken down in the middle and you had to climb your way out of the center of the bed to get up. On the web site where I booked this motel said that the motel was pet friendly (that is why I chose this motel). I ended up being attacked like a criminal by the staff when they saw me and my chihuahua going out the back door (with there little security camera's mounted everywhere) taking her to the bathroom. It ended up costing me $10.00 extra a day for my little puppy. This was one of the worse motels I have ever been in. I would NEVER recommend this motel to any one.

Exactly what would be expected for the money spent.

staff was friendly, room was clean, had fridge and microwave, HBO, everything up to date. nice cont breakfast as well as coffee in room. pillows were hard, but i brought my own just in case.

I have stayed here one night for the last 2 years and the motel has not improved. It is old, dated, worn. The queen bed in my room was very uncomfortable and should be replaced. The tv/sattelite system is confusing and the remote would not work properly. The wifi worked great. I did not participate in the breakfast but it looked to be spartan.

This place was great for the price. They have mini fridges with real freezers!

Upon my arrival, I asked about the the rooms rate, the desk clerk said $59.99 a/night, I said why she says they were newly remodeled and showed a picture on a tv screen, mind you I had already reserved a non smoking room and The room stunk just like cigarette smoke, I instantly got sick, the bathroom was filthy ub was so black and dirty, and the matress had blood stains that was showing through the white thin sheet, the walls were filthy eiling was full of dust and the bathroon was discusting with fecal waste, urine and everything else. They refused to move me to another room or give me a refund.

The location is great for a quick trip to Bishop Int'l airport. But the toilet in my room ran loudly once every minute or two, and the neighbors were smoking and the smell came through my bathroom.....

We originally stayed at another hotel (If we were KNIGHTS, we would be INN). It was horrible! We switched to the Super 8, and sure are glad we did. For the price, it was extremely pleasing, from the refrigerator and microwave in the room to the continental breakfast (no doughnuts as pictured, but still good). The waffles were excellent!! Plenty of TV channels. The wi-fi was a bit spotty and we kept getting kicked off, but no big deal. Always got back on. I wish there was a pool, but can't have it all. The staff was perfect! Polite and always smiling. I was very satisfied.

Clean room, quiet. A good value for the price. I would stay here again, but who goes to Flint anymore.
