The room needed to be cleaned
There were brown and black spots everywhere in the bathroom and sink aera. The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a few months.

Less than one star
Beat up, worn out, dirty carpet; Cobwebs, dirty bathtub, cracked tiles;chipped and damaged furniture. I can't think of anything good to say.[...]. The owner or relatives must have given it three stars I saw on the rating.

Great Place
let me start off by saying i dont know how this hotel has any bad reviews, we were staying at the red roof inn next door and hated it, we decided to give this place a try before going back home, let me just say i will be a repeat customer for life, they off a solid price for the rooms and you can tell right away that the rooms have been remodeled from the new looking desks to the new looking bed, this place was a joy to stay at, they have free hbo, free breakfast and free wifi, the breakfast has a huge selection of items including bagels,danishes(my wifes favorite) muffins, bread, yogurt, fruits and oatmeal, also some of the best coffee i have ever tried., the staff was really really nice

Italian gardens is basically in their parking lot and they have some of the best tasting food on miller rd

rating should be lowered for this hotel
outside looked ok, inside a different story. Holes in the walls, the entire place looked like it had not been painted for at least ten years. Furniture chipped and broken. drawers meant to fit in some other dresser. Drapes hanging half off the window. The only good thing was the bathroom seemed clean.

Great stay
It was a nice quiet little stay. In short distance of shopping mall and other stores. I would recommend it. At first i was kind of shaky on staying here but i was proved wrong.

Sleeping on the STREET is better...
This roachtel is actually bad for your health. Worse than the projects,but very close to any shanty-town in a 3rd-world country.

Not what it was advertized as
Was listed on the net as a smoking room but there are no smoking rooms in Michigan since May 2010.[...] The only reason we picked this particular hotel was because it was listed as a smoking room. There were other much nicer hotels available had we known that all Michigan hotels are no-smoking. [...]

Bathroom wakeup
Bathroom door falling off hinges, cob webs in every corner, room smelled of smoke, breakfast bar filthy

Don't Even Go There!
When I arrived the room I was given had a broken air conditioner. After I was given another and it had a strong smell of disinfectent. My cell phone was not working due to the area coverage, and I was asked for a ten dollar deposit to use the phone in my room. My room didn't even have a shower curtain!

It isn't the fanciest place, but
It isn't the fanciest place, but is clean and has a nice staff. We feel as though the pricing is right, especially for business. Excellent accommodations for parking and a friendly, clean, welcome atmosphere. Located very close to the freeway and main roads.
