An OK place to stay.
We needed a simple, clean, safe and inexpensive place to stay while visiting the University. This place met our expectations. The front desk staff was adequate but the housekeeping staff was very good. The main building dates from probably the early 60's and an atrium with pool, exercise area and breakfast area was added probably in the 80's. All were simple, clean and serviceable.

Worth it
Surprising to find a pool there. Although it was located a stones throw from the highway, it would be nice if it were closer to the Mariott.

Great value!
This hotel was soo convenient! I booked it for the time I had to take the bar exam. Breakfast in the morning was fresh and healthy. Rooms were clean, comfortable and visually appealing. Staff was helpful! Check-in and check-out was a snap. Located next to a great Lebanese restaurant called Woody's Oasis. Super close to campus. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and produced a relaxing experience!

Needs updating
The hotel staff was nice, but we signed in with one price on our sheet and got charged the higher internet price we had booked with. This would have been understandable if we had gotten the room we booked. They were unwilling to make any changes. The room could have been in better shape as well. There were cobwebs in one corner. The TV was pretty old as well, so we could not hook our computer up to it. Okay place for a cheap price.

Mediocre ridiculously overpriced hotel
The setting makes it look more like a motel, but you'll pay about $100 per night, simply because it has a small pool...that attracts lots of loud, out of control children and a couple of parents screaming for them to not run or try to drown each other. The room smelled badly when we first walked in, but opened the door and let it air out and it was ok. Not the cleanest..found a dead but by the lamp...very visible, so it makes me wonder when was the last time the room had been cleaned...This used to be a better hotel when they first opened in 06, but clearly things have changed...too bad because it's an excellent location near MSU campus. Hopefully they'll take this feedback into account and do something about it.

Tacky but clean
Very close to MSU campus. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Decor is very outdated and worn. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was very limited, took one look and skipped it.

WEDDING
Ok for one night
Check in was great, we arrived early (noon) had to be at a wedding at 3 and we were able to check in right away. That was the best thing about the stay. The room was clean but very small. We had problems connecting to the internet and when we called the office we had to call the hotel's provider to fix the problem. The front desk should have handled it and called us to let us know we were connected.

Great location, good price
The location was perfect, we were visiting Owosso, where all the hotels were already booked for the weekend. Easy access on/off highways. Our room had inside hallway, so we felt very secure. Staff was helpful at checkin. Used free computer located in lobby. Didn't use pool but it was great size and pool side towels were plentiful. We were pleasantly surpised to have a continental breakfast provided at this price. Was within walking distance of a few fast food restaurants. Only complaint I had was that I requested a wakeup call. They said they had it taken care of. I never got the call. Thank goodness I also set the alarm clock that was provided in the room.
