Clean, Friendly, Convenient location to campus
My husband and I stayed just for one night as a little get away. We chose the location so it would be within walking distance of campus and restaurants. The location couldn't have been more perfect. Just a walk across the street to campus. The staff upon arrival was extremely nice and professional. Quickest check-in ever. The room was very clean. The bathroom was very updated. We would definitely recommend the place.

Good location - uncomfortable room
Room was clean and the location is great for MSU. However, room was too warm. Need to fix thermostat. As a Rewards customer I expected the front desk to provide some sort of discount. They would not.

Good location, friendly staff, allowed me to park my motorcycle under the entrance awning and moved one of their vans to make room for it. Easy walk to football stadium, decent restaurant on site, plenty to do within walking distance.

Location, location, location
The Marriott at University Place in East Lansing, Michigan is a good hotel. The hotel provides secure covered parking via an underground lot which is a plus for being located in such a busy area of town. There are several shops and restaurants that surround the hotel and are within walking distance. The hotel itself was nice; the rooms were clean and the hotel staff, friendly. Overall, I would rate this hotel very highly and will reserve another room here on my next trip to East Lansing, MI.

Great location
For anyone who will be visiting Michigan State University, this is an ideal location. Many things are withing walking distance, since parking on campus can be a real problem. It was a very quiet facility even though it is located right downtown.
