This hotel was probubly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Nice comfortable beds, very clean and classy. The only ... thing we did not like was that we had no prior knowledge about the cost of parking. You either had to pay for the valet parking or pay the long term parking fee for the airport parking deck. Approx. $24

Hotel is part of airport so, with a late arrival, saved money by not renting car until next day. Extra expense of the hotel was offset by rental car savings.

I had been traveling solo for almost 2 weeks with my 11 month old son. The Westin was our last stop before we flew home to ... Seattle the next morning. The sheer convenience of the hotel location, made better only by the staff's desire to assist (in my case with luggage, stroller, etc.), is reason enough to go back. (Note: this morning the bellhop took care of my bags and was responsible for helping me to be met by a First Class Delta representative. And we are a Coach family, I assure!) The food at Dema was only so-so, but the hotel space itself is relaxing, and our room was quite nice. I was so impressed with the Westin Detroit that when traveling cross-country again, I will look to travel through Detroit knowing the kind of service I can expect there.

Arrived late, left early. That was the plan. We booked a package with parking and saved some there too. Couldn't be quicker ... getting to your gate. All set up to be very easy. Eye catching surroundings as well.

Really nice room. Husband said bar staff was extremely nice and went out of their way to help get us a late night nosh. ... One staff member offered valet and when we declined, made it clear very quickly that we would not be able to use the carts. Actually never crossed my mind and took some of the polish off immediately. Desk clerk could have been a little friendlier. Professional but a little chilly. Her co-worker was extremely nice but I spoke to her first. Overall, beautiful hotel. Pay a little more attention to the bathroom. Mildew around a bar in the bathtube. I may not notice it as much in a Hotel 6 but I expect a little more care in a Westin.

Unfortunately only a brief business stay, but when you arrive at almost midnight, the hotel's atmosphere was a soothing ... experience. Heavenly Bed is always heavenly and greatly appreciated (I don't worry that I won't get any sleep)

Got there late in the day, food was closing down, but got some stuff to hold us over. Drinks were too high, more than ... double from the cost of the mini bar. $12 for a shot is pricy for me

The location was the selling point for my stay. I didn't have to get my son or husband up at 3am to get to the airport for ... my 6am flight. It is conveniently located on the airport property with security check points to the terminal and kiosk for NWA flyers. The hotel has a beautiful atrium, it had serene feel to it (at least for the time I arrive). The room is modern in design, color scheme was right on throughout the room. The bed was heavenly to me as they say. There was not a single sound of the airplanes or the airport traffic. Their staff was excellent at all times and very helpful to questions you may have. Overall, the hotel is great at every level.

This hotel is located within the Detroit Metro Airport and provides lovely accomadations if you are using that airport. It ... is a well appointed hotel with all the amenities. I enjoyed the dining room very much with its pleasant atmosphere and professional waitstaff. I would highly recommend this hotel.
