Lions Football game

The hotel restaurant was over priced. The seven eleven of food. Expensive for convenience. Four dollars for a can of warm Seven Up. Thirty-six dollars for two can drinks and an eight inch frozen pizza. One omelette and three pancakes was forty dollars. One hundred dollars for dinner for two that anywhere else would have been fifty. The quality of the food was good but for the price should have been excellent.

I loved the fact that I could drop my rental car off the night before, shuttle to the hotel and then go through airport security right from the hotel the next morning. The whole setup allowed me to sleep in and enjoy the fantastic accommodations with no stress in the morning. Beautiful hotel, beautiful room and friendly staff.

Westin at Detriot Metro

Can't beat this for value. Valet parking with 10 days free parking included.Very nice room that was clean and comfortable. Checked in at 1600hrs, had dinner there. Arranged a bell boy to pick up our suit cases at 0530 hrs and followed him right out into Delta's check in area without having to go outside. Called the hotel when we landed back into Detriot Metro and our car was at the front door of the hotel, ready for pick up. How nice is that.........

Convenient for travelers

Everything was fine, except I was highly disappointed for a quality hotel (charging premiums room prices), to charge for in-room internet services, yet offers free internet access for only one (1) hour in the Lobby for those who stay there. That means the business man/women is forced to pay for a service that is normally offered at Motel 6 for free. Doesn't make any sense to inconvenience those on business or anyone!!!!!! in addition, you could not display a menu guide on the TV to see what was on each Channel or see future TV shows. They gave you an on-screen menu that indicated channel # for ABC, NBC, etc, however you have to select the channel, and see what was on - and guess what was on!!! Time Warner, Verizon Fios, etc offers this services. This is unacceptable!!!!! I called the front desk and they said "that's' how it is" I suggest you contact Starwood Hotels and make note of this. I will not stay there again do to these inconvenience features. Can you imagine that you have to pay for internet services and you have to guess what was on TV!!!!!!!

In Airport Hotel, which allows you to go from your plane to the hotel without leaving the terminal. That's why I selected this hotel. In addition, has it's own security screen areas for those guests staying at the hotel can ascertain a pass to take go back into the terminal to take advantage of the shops, food, etc.
