The room was clean and felt luxurious.
The casino itself wasn't overly impressive but it might be because I frequent Las Vegas and CT MGM Grand. I felt that the buffet was not worth the money unless you eat a lot of crabs. The hotel room was fabulous and the bed was beyond perfect. I'd love to replicate the entire bed and bedding for my room.

Nice place to stay for a few days
A fantastic hotel with friendly staff and excellent service. The room was amazing with everything you could ask for. The only slight negative comment i would make is that the bed mattress was a little soft and i sank into the bed. A harder bed mattress would have been better. Apart from that, no issues at all.

Short drive from hotel
Must check out a baseball game at Coamerica Park. Sitting in a stadium with 40,000 screaming fans. Absolutely amazing.

Mother and daughter staycation
The hotel is beautiful and the staff were more than accomodating. Even though the hotel is a non-smoking premise there was still a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room. It was probably coming from the adjoining casino which allows smoking. Also, we were disappointed that weekday room service hours did not extend beyond 11:00pm and the menu selection was very limited

Finest Hotel in Detroit Period
My wife and i stay here when we need a getway from life. We choose the grand player package, all inclusive gaming, food, stay. This is by far the best hotel in the metro Detroit area with the finest rooms and amenities period, hands down, worth every penny.

Had a nice time
We were turned off at first by the casino, but our stay got a lot better after finally getting into our room. The only bad thing was that Orbitz messed up our reservation. Fortunately the hotel took care of it that evening and straightened everything out the next day.
