Return from Florida Honeymoon
I stayed here with my wife after we returned from our honeymoon. The room was modern and clean. The hotel is in a prime location with several great restaurants nearby. Guests will have to drag their luggage a decent distance if they don't use the valet service. Overall, good value hotel in a great location.

Casino Fun
This was my first visit to Greektown Casino Hotel. Chose the hotel as I was attending an event next door at Joe Louis Arena. Location was GREAT. Hotel room was excellent. Really nice room and amenities. Actually wished I'd stayed longer. Casino was a great way to enjoy the day/night too. Will definetely stay here on my next visit to the Detroit area. Greektown neighborhood has a great amount of restaurants, bars, etc all within walking distance.

In Hotel
People mover station adjacent to hote/casino, so easy to get to/from Joe Louis Arena. Took about 5 minutes.

Greek Town is a great area in Detroit a lot of different things to do down there.

Perfect for our activities....
Went for Lions/Seahawks NFL game and gme 4 of the World Series....couldn't have found a better location. Decent restaurants in walking distance as well. Would return here for similar itinerary. Good gaming at the Casino too.

Good Deal!
Everything about this stay was nice & easy! Love the area...super easy to get to any sport event, and the hotel room, staff, food & casino were great! Would definitely stay here again. Loved that we were given $20 in casino money & 2 free breakfast buffet tickets @ Bistro 555...tasty!

It's definitely a short walk to everything downtown, but it's pretty cool they have buses that roll around & will drive you anywhere downtown for free/small tip;)

Great place for an even better price
I found the staff and my room here to be great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The security was a great comfort with all the extra people coming in and out for the casino. The room was small but perfect for one person and still very nice. The cost of room service and the food at Bistro 555 was very economical. You can access the Detroit People Mover from the casino side and travel elsewhere in downtown.

While there are some dicey spots like in any major city, one should still check out great places like St Andrews Hall. Also, with the people mover, one can go to the Renaissance Center for shopping or even a movie.

Nice Stay
This is the second time that we have stayed at Greektown hotel and we have no complaints. We stay here because it is close to Comerica Park, about 5 blocks, and is close to all the amenities downtown. Also, we enjoy Shotz, the Hotels Sportsbar for drinks and a quick bite to eat. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable, and we always have a great view! Plus the valet parking is super convenient!

Great place too stay. We will stay there again.very short walk to ford field. Rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Also walked away with 150 from the casino, which paid the hotel bill. Overall, we had an awesome experience.
