Tradition & Charm

The Conciere service was great with outstanding food and drinks provided nearly every day. Only downside was staff forgot to ... deliver our USA Today last two days and our bill under the door the morning of our last day. Lots of history in those walls -- a perfect setting for weddings. The grounds were in mint condition.

The Sunday Brunch is outstanding and a great tradition there. Having a Conciere room gets you breakfast in the a.m. and snacks/drinks in the p.m. with desert. Great food.

The hotel that doesn't say "No"
Mar Jun 30, 2009
The best thing I can say about The Dearborn Inn is that we plan to return. The location was perfect for our stay to visit ... family in the Detroit area -- close to Canton, Trenton and Dearborn Heights. The service at the Hotel was exceptional and the entire staff, registration, housekeeping, life guard, and staff in the restaurants. This is the type of hotel that doesn't say "No" and always went beyond what was normally expected to accommodate our wishes with smiles. There were a number of areas where we entertained family. Our favorite being the sun room although the outdoor area was comfortable with tables, umbrellas and truly beautiful landscaping.

Historic!
traveler May 11, 2009
Just walking around the grounds of this hotel was enjoyable! It was built in the 1930s by Henry Ford and it has maintained ... its historic feel. We visited the Henry Ford museum, which was just down the street and had a lot of fun there! Families would love the museum. Our room was comfortable and quiet; modern convienences while holding its 1930 look. We ate dinner at the formal dining room, pricey but nice and had breakfast at the more casual resteraunt which was also very nice. 20 minutes from downtown puts it in a desirable location for commuting.

Fabulous place for a wedding!!
Jennifer Jul 22, 2007
The rooms were very generously sized and having access to the Hospitality Suite made so many of the wedding preparations go ... smoothly. The person assigned to help my girfriend (mother of the bride) was very accomodating, giving her access to the ballroom the night before so that we could set up the tables just so. Even the front desk staff was so very helpful, loaning us scissors so that we could hem a bridesmaid dress at 1 am or so. My one regret is being so busy that I never had a chance to check out the pool, the fitness center, or the gardens (which looked beautiful from our room!!). I would definitely choose to stay there again!!
