No sleep hotel
I made the mistake of trying to save a little money by booking a cheap hotel. Bad idea. We arrived at the hotel at 4 pm. After having been on the road for 12 hours we had planned to go to our room and relax. They gave use a room and when we got there the cleaning lady was still in the process of cleaning our room and said it would be another 30-40 min before she was finished. I went back to the desk and requested another room. Unfortunatly our new room was next to several rooms that were occupied by related people who apparently were in town for the sole purpose of partying in their rooms all night,so no sleep was had the first night. We requested a new room the next day which was quiter but I still got little sleep because the bed springs were poking into my back. (Not an exaggeration). As for the rest of the room,well don't expect much.The room are very small and you will not find a hair dryer,fridge,laundry bag etc. It is just the basics, a bed,tv, toilet,sink and shower. I will spend the extra money next time for a little more comfort and a good night sleep.

Red Roof Inn Dearborn
The check in process was very good and they had me ready to go to my room in no time. I was very surprised to find out that breakfast was provided in a voucher for a local family owned diner only 2 blocks away. I was very impressed with the with the resturant and the hotel for their combined effort. The hotel is in an excellent location for business with Livernois Motorsports and Hertz Car Rental.

Very good..
The hotel was very good. Everythis was equipped including iron etc. The room was very clean. But the staff (check in) was not kind to us. When I asked the direction to the restaurant, She scared me. She did not give me the breakfast voucher. However the staff next morning was very good.

Very good location, and facility
The staff were knowledgable of the area and friendly. Just would not give me a receipt of charges at the end of my stay. That was disconcerting.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
The reason for trip was to re-visit the Henry Ford Museum, Green Field Village, and I-MAX program. The lodging facility as close to the attraction as available. Should we re-visit this area again, we would more than likely stay here again.

The hotel offers clean, comfortable, pleasant rooms with few frills. Given its location in Detroit, it is also very safe. Good accommodations at an excellent price. I would go back again.
