It was OKAY
the hotel was okay, the only thing is that the room had a slight odor.

There is a mall, movie theatre, and food within walking distance of this hotel which is great if you do not have a car.

Security showed up at room just after we got back from a wedding. Apparently we were "noisy". The guard said the caller must have been wrong. However the floors are thin. It sounded like a heard of buffalo above us. Would not say much for the kitchen stock. Three or four untensils and only 1 coffee cup. Very clean. Only place that I stayed at that did not supply little shampoos. The front desk had none to offer.

Very Nice Home away from Home
The Extended Stay at Dearborn in the Detroit area was a very pleasant to stay. It's so close to all the Interstate for traveling. The comfort of home. When I was driving from one place to another it was so a good feeling to get back to the hotel to relax like being at home. The front desk clerk was so nice at check in. I will make sure I stay there again when I'm in that area.

There was a SuperWal-Mart within five min. from the hotel. All kinds of places to eat around that area. A large shopping mall in walking distance.

Great location
It's perhaps unfair to characterize Extended Stay America in Dearborn Michigan as so unsatisfactory regarding dining options and amenities. The hotel does not have a restaurant, and in its role as an extended stay hotel for travelers it presumes that guests will bring their own shampoo and other toiletries. Nevertheless, how much can a couple of tiny bottles of shampoo and hair conditioner cost when purchased in bulk? The location on Town Center Drive was great. I was attending a two day professional conference at the Hyatt, also on Town Center Drive just three minutes away. I stayed two nights at Extended Stay America, and was surprised to learn that maid service would require an additional charge. I chose not to incur that extra charge. My room was clean, neat, and well maintained and it was no great chore to make my own bed in the morning. Depending on one's specific needs, I would recommend Extended Stay America in Dearborn to anyone who plans to stay for a week or more.
