Needs some help.....
Old and dirty is how I would describe this hotel. We were planning on staying 2 nights, but checked out and went elsewhere. Walls are rotting out around the pool, carpet is filthy, and we were kept up all night with drunk ultimate fighters and harleys being way to loud in the parking lot. I have learned my lesson......NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! I am sure that this place was great 40yrs. ago, and with some updating it could be great again.

Decent Hotel
On the whole the Sands probably was at its best between 30-40 years ago. It looks good from the road, but is a little run-down. I was a little disappointed that the High Speed Internet did not extend into the rooms. I found myself checking my e-mail at about 6:00 AM in the dining room in order to get a connection. For my purposes of staying over night for a sporting event the next day it was a decent hotel.

Maggies was pretty good for dinner. The Oberon on tap was nice.
