Gas up before entering Michigan. Prices jumped 30 cents on friday. No increase in other states on return home.

Overnight stay
Good location, price was cheapest in the area. I was very happy with the service and room, we stay in Birch Run often, I will most likely stay at this hotel again.

The room was clean ,the morning breakfast was okay and the check in people where very helpful. The noise level that night was on the high side seemed like noise was coming from everywhere.

Great Escape!
Wonderful hotel, excellent price and location. We were close to Birch Run, near our favourite antique store and just a few miles away from Frankenmuth. Definitely going to return! We have already recommended this hotel to friends who are visiting between Christmas and New Years.

The Grays
A nice getaway
My wife and I try to go up to Birch Run and Frankenmuth once a year. This was a nice, cost effective hotel to stay in. The rooms were clean, the water HOT, and the location was perfect. My only complaint was the beds and pillows were not overly comfortable, but I have to clarify that by saying that I'm picky about my beds and pillows. If you want a nice room at a reasonable price, this is a good choice.

The Exit Restaurant is a nice place for a family meal. It is right next door to the hotel.

For $100 bucks, a place to crash!
Room was ready upon arrival at 11:00 am which was great, but smelled like old smoke. Found out it used to be a smoking room. Bed not comfortable, pillows not good, did like that there was microwave and small fridge in room. Smoke alarm went off at 12 midnight and we all went outside for about 10-15 min. They said cause was candle or someone smoking in a room. Staff was very nice. Good donuts in breakfast area in am.

TDubbs had good food in Frankenmuth for a quick bite, they also have beer and wine. Hamburger was good.

Shopping with a German Touch
When we arrived we found out that the hotel was pet friendly. We checked into our room and found that the room had previously had a pet which caused my asthma to kick in. We went to the front desk and they immediately gave us a choice of 4 other rooms. We settled in and enjoyed the trip. We found the location was excellent right off the highway and very close to Frankenmuth and the Outlet Mall. Although the weather didn't cooperate we were very pleased with the hotel and will be staying there again.

nice stay
clean room, nice staff, nice continental breakfast only problem we had was we went out for the day to frankenmuth and when we came back our room door was ajar. we complained to management and were told the maid had just left our room and they would talk to her and they were very apologetic and as nothing was missing it was fine. would defiinately stay here again for the price.
