Great experience.

Fantastic Breakfast for FREE
We were in town for a wedding. The accomodations were nice and comfortable. We would have liked having a TV program guide. The staff was friendly and very courteous. We will definitely use this hotel again.

Unbeatable location for the price"
The hotel was great! Rooms were clean, nicely furnished, staff was helpful and friendly... but the beds were very uncomfortable and the sink area outside the bathroom was small.

Fairfield Inn - You could do worse
The hotel was close to two of our planned stops, the Air Zoo and a Renaissance faire. The staff was very helpful. When a housekeeper failed to swap out out towels from the previous day, the desk clerk was there almost immediately with the replacements. The breakfast bar was the best that we had ever sampled. Among the standard items were make your own waffles, hard boiled eggs, sausage and egg sandwiches, and either make your own or premade oatmeal (with brown sugar available). Also, the Godfathers and sports bar across the street made the lack of a regular restaurant/bar much more tolerable.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Check out the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo. It is both an aircraft museum and a space center. There is no fee for admission and an unlimited ride armband for the very cool rides is less than thirteen bucks. There is even a snack bar with reasonable priced food.

Excellent Service and Value !
Both receptionists were great, especially [...] who went above and beyond duty to help us find something I misplaced. The breakfast crew was smiling and asking us if we needed anything. The rooms were clean and recently renovated. The bed was comfortable. This is probably the best hotel in Battle Creek !

Clean, comfortable and family friendly
We swam in the pool and the breakfast was wonderful for my family. The room is comfortable and clean. I try to always stay at this particular hotel for these reasons. Adding perhaps kid shampoos or somthing on that order would be nice for children since this hotel is know for being family friendly. Having a later or somewhat flexible checkout time would also help greatly as we usually fly into Battle Creek to see family.

Short walk from hotel
The Cracker Barrel was a short walk and it was handy to pick up some tinkets for my family as well. My children and grandchildren live in this town so it gives us a place to meet.

Battle Creek Fairfield
The hotel was recently redecorated and done very beautifully. The rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly. They even are shipping my husbands cell phone back to us because we forgot it. I would suggest they put a rug inside and outside the pool room door to minimize slips from wet feet/shoes. I fell very hard when I was stepping out of the pool area and have a nasty bruise on my knee because of it. Other than that we were very pleased and will stay again.
