Not first choice
we suddenly found ourselves needing another night in a hotel. We had been staying at Sonesta ES Suites nearby but it was booked for the night. I would go back there in a heartbeat. This place? eh, not so much. Comparison: Sonesta less $$, better breakfast, a full size coffee maker and more spacious room. On the plus side for Auburn Hills Hotels and Suites: a larger lobby and indoor pool.

One of the most pleasant stays I've had in a while
This hotel was spacious and with all the amenities of a larger hotel. I realize this used to be a Wyndham hotel but now is in the process of becoming a Hampton Inn hotel. Room was clean and spacious and the A/C/heater with digital thermostat kept it very comfortable. Complimentary continental breakfast comes with egg and sausage patties as well as Belgian waffles. You can't beat that! For the price I paid for this stay, I would definitely return here for my next visit!

customer service is great. they will go above if something is wrong. got a chance to talk to the manager great guy. room was clean and great price.

Needed a room quickly and they were the cheapest. Nice staff and a clean room. There were some negatives, the side enterence door was broken and you couldn't swipe your card to get in.

Worst Wingate experience ever
Room was disgusting. Couch was horribly stained and dirty, room smelled, carpet dirty. Definitely not like any other Wingate I have stayed with. Staff was friendly but not very helpful.

Wingate
This is a fair priced and good hotel. I think that the room needs some upgrade, sofa was very dirty. Great location and easy exit to I-75

Dirty Room
Long story short - LOTS of head and genital hair on pillow case and sheets...so, it's safe to say the didn't change sheets after last visitor. When I reported the problem, they simply dropped off new sheets requiring me to change them myself. -Toilet seat was broken off - crusty red substance in 3 different spots on floor. - bath tub was filthy - breakfast was horrible -good coffee
