Not a nice place to stay!!!!
The room was very small and the bathroom was tiny! Very outdated and the bathroom was dirty. The staff at the front desk were nice but the restaurant staff were rude. Our children went swimming in the pool and ended up with rashes which they've never gotten from other pools.

Nice restaurant, lobby, pool area...average room.
It is very clear from the moment that you walk into the hotel that they put a lot of time and thought into their renovations. The lobby area is modern but warm, and the restaurant was very nice. The pool area is actually quite breathtaking with several spiral staircases that link patios attached to each interior room and end up in the pool and game room area. I didn't have a chance to check out the bakery or bar, but the restaurant was cozy and nice. The staff was very kind and helpful as well. The room itself wasn't anything spectacular. It is easy to see they spent their money on the lobby, restaurant, fitness, and pool areas and gave the rooms a "lipstick" job. The air conditioning unit in the room was old and quite loud. I eventually turned it off. The room was clean, but looked a bit "worn out," with a little bit of evidence of moisture on the wall that went out to the pool area. I was expecting a bit more after seeing the lobby. Although the room was average, the bed was VERY comfortable and the linens were very nice. The room service prices were very affordable, and the pizza they made to order was very good. Overall, this looks like an old "mom and pop" inn that is really taking valiant strides towards becoming a VERY nice hotel. I am sure the next stage of renovations will begin to address the room quality. The rooms may not have the perfect pristine quality of a chain hotel, but the unique amenities and interesting design of the hotel make it a good value.

Hotel nice, staff not
The room was nice, comfy bed, nice flat screen TV, nice shampoo/hair con./soap. The staff was not very helpfull at check-in or when I called for information-first time no one answered the phone to Guest-Services. Improve the staff and this would be a five-star. Also coffee maker was small one cup-had to use their special one-cup coffee. I like to make more and I had my own coffee, so this was disapointing. Fridge was very small. No $5.00 coupon now, 25% off coupon. I like Weber's and have stayed here many times, so it was disapointing that the staff was not helpful. Maybe because I was alone and a woman. Other times there I was with my husband and the staff was very acomadating. So I don't know if this was the case.

We greatly enjoyed the pool area. Games by the poolside for the kids to enjoy in-between rounds in the water. Used the WiFi and was thankful it was avaialable. The restaurant served a great breakfast. Enjoyed the modern decor. Will seriously consider returning there in the future.

Nice hotel
We stayed one night while moving our daughter to Ann Arbor. This hotel is close to I-94 so it is easy off and easy on if you are traveling that road. The hotel is still undergoing some renovation but seemed to be mostly completed. The room was clean and fairly quiet. We saw the pool but didn't use it. My daughter liked the spiral staircases going to the pool. The room was a little brighter than I am used to. There is an i-pod dock with a clock that put out a lot of light and light came around each side of the curtain even though it was closed. Upon check in we received 2 $5. vouchers for the restaurant. We used those for breakfast, which was good. One thing that could be a negative is that there is only one entrance/exit door for the hotel. The hotel is small enough that it is not a big issue.
