I always stay here when I travel in for UMS performances. Easy to get into downtown Ann Arbor. Breakfast is an expanded continental with no hot items. The deluxe rooms are the best choice. A good value especially if you can get a discount.
There were a lot of bugs on the floor, in the bathtub, around the bed, everywhere. There was a large Jacuzzi in the unit and a large bug -I didn't know what it was- was swimming in it.
The room smelled like trash and the floor wasn't clean.
Stayed here for homecoming weekend. The setup of the structure and rooms is more of a motel than a hotel, but that being said, the room was pretty nice for what's labeled as a 2 star hotel. The staff were friendly and granted any small requests
(i.e. extra towels/soap). There is free breakfast in the morning, and most importantly, located very close to campus. It is somewhat hard to find off of State street, but not impossible. Overall very pleased for the price and location, I would stay there again.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short drive from hotel
Very short and easy drive to campus. When not busy, about an $8 cab ride to the middle of campus.
